This is my first time posting here so, Hello there!
My first story was approved and published by Literotica this morning and I’m over the moon I already have over 4,000 views. However, there’s something that’s making me really sad and I want to ask your opinion.
I’m young (22) and this is one of my first stories ever and I happened to write about interracial sex (a black male and white female, if you must know). I submitted it under “interracial love” and clearly state at the beginning of the story the male is an African American. I got a lot of hateful and racist comments (most including very hateful and bad words – don’t get me wrong, I use profanity in my stories but there are certain limits…) because one of the characters is black I just couldn’t believe it. Why would someone who doesn’t like black people (or any other race, for that matter) go through the trouble of reading a story that is clearly marked as having an African America character just to go leave racist comments? I’m puzzled, here!
I joined this forum this week and met so many interesting, literate people that I thought someone out there must have an answer or opinion on this. I didn’t delete the racist comments yet but I’m going to – I won’t allow that kind of “thing” to stay anywhere near something I wrote.
P.S.- I'm really sorry if this topic doesn't belong here. I tried to choose the best place for it and this seemed like it so here it is.
