Im very new to BDSM. So is my lover. He has mentioned wanting to wrap me in saran/plastic wrap. I don't know why/how/what this works. Whats the pleasure/pain/thrill is in this?

Has anyone been bound loosely in saran wrap? I would imagine that to be an incredibly frustrating sensation...
Well, pallet wrap is designed to stop 2000 pounds of shit from falling over and breaking even when a delivery truck has to make sudden stops. I'm not sure I'd want to use it for bondage, though, because it's pretty hard to break without a lot of force. It's pretty difficult to slice through even with a razor blade.I'd probably equate it with regular bondage where I tend to like to have a bit of wiggle room.
Being without that makes me frustrated!
I think though, I've read somewhere, saran wrap is good, but pallet wrap is stronger, if you can get your hands on it.
I've done it once and I loved it. It wasn't painful, it wasn't thrilling. For me it was a show of trust. I have claustrophobia, or more correctly a need to always be able to escape. Breath restriction was once a hard limit. So to allow him to wrap me up so tightly in saran wrap, including my head and face was me putting my life in his hands.
No way...I have an innate fear of being trapped like that. I can't, for the life of me, ever see that being hot. I work with a guy, and he said when they were kids, they'd play a game called panic. They'd roll each other up in the floor rugs. You wouldn't be able to move or even see...and if you could, they'd sit on it till you stopped. I got winded just listening to his story. I'd kill someone over that...lol
Shudders...

saran wrap comes in lots of pretty colors.
We don't have "saran wrap" here, the equivalent is "glad wrap".
Aside from the physical restraint/bondage aspect, and being able to perve at all the flesh wrapped up but still on display, one of the things I have found plastic wrap good for is introducing someone to wax play. The plastic makes it less scary, hopefully they're somewhat distracted by being bound up, and the plastic helps spread the heat from the wax, making it an area warming experience, rather than the intense initial heat from the droplets.

You could also try using a soy wax candle, which melts at a lesser temperature and isn't as hot as regular wax. I've used it with new girls and they loved it.
Pffft, you are such a GIRL!
...Wait, so am I.
Okay, carry on.
