Hello everyone..
My name is Lou, I'm 25 and currently doing a long spell of research work off the west coast of Scotland....I'm on an island, (wont tell you which one, as its very small, and i dont want any weirdo's coming to find me!!!)..I'm busy counting seabirds, and as I go to sleep each evening, I see the lines of birds all present and correct there for me to inspect..LOL.
Seriously, the boredom is getting to me ( been here for twelve days, only seeing the guy who brings me my provisions every other day!) Luckily, I get a signal here, as its part of the remit of the job, so I have got my own laptop to play..
I'm adjusting quite well to the whole thing, going to bed at night with nobody around for miles and miles...eeeeekkkk...It does get easier though

I have desire to speak to any of you other females ..if you are up for it? I feel SO dirty being on this line...was used to reading a few stories on here before I came up here..anyway, embarassment aside...

Hope to make some friends...

Lou

Hi Louisa
Welcome to the site..I've sent you a pm.
You are are seriously BRAVE woman being on your own like that.. Its the kind of thing that I'd do myself actually. I love an adventure

Ems:kiss:

How do you make the birdies all stand still to count them??

Welcome to lit hun.

AAhhha.. That is why I'm here!...i have a natural ability to count accurately..
Seriously , ther are techniques that get the job done.. Sorry, thats boring to most of you....Its getting colder her now, and I'm getting the fire stoked up ..The furniture here is laughable (1970's sofa covered in food stains, ans a chest of draws that should have been burnt in the 70's too)

Lou

Sorry not a female. But wanted to welcome you here. Interesting job you have. I don't think I could take being along like that.

Hello Lou,

Welcome to sunny Scotland. Watch out for the haggis running round the mountains. They can only run round in one driection, since their legs are longer on one side!

Enjoy counting the birds, and weclcome to Lit. I am sure you'll makes lots of friends here.

Keep well

Hey Folks... back on my own again after having volunteers here for the last couple of weeks, Sharing a tiny living space does nothing for ones ability to relieve stresses built up....I'm sure you can guess...Though I did manage a couple of little fiddles under my sleeping bag after everyone was asleep:devil:

FREEZING cold here in Scotland, wet and miserable...Who's going to come and chat?..I'm all set up with my bottle of wine and a big fire going...

Lou

My last night of freedom, before I'm packed in like a tin of sardines ... ( 12 Volunteers arrive tomorrow )
Tried to get a little self loving time last night, but what with phone calls from my mother etc, compounded with a very physical day, I fell asleep with my hand in a very personal space.. Aahh.. I'm desperate to get off..

Any of you bi girls free to exchange a message or two?

A wild looking Lou.. bidding you well
