I never cared much for ponies, damn things are mean and prone to bite. My favorite are the heavy horses, the Percherons, Clydes, the Belgians, there's a regal majesty about them. Watching them work is like seeing poetry in motion.

All of this is just my opinion of course. And no taxes were added, and no votes were miscounted.

Stella, I've run across a few political threads there, but the organization of the site according to an unlimited number of groups means that it's quite easy to avoid these threads. I poked around a few of them when I first got active at FL but soon tired of the same imbalance of logic and unreasonability.

On the other hand, because FL operates as a type of social networking site, it seems to be easier to get to know people well more quickly than one generally does here.
