Hey,

Well I have been talking to quite a few people here and it appears from what I've read and heard, that toilet play is frowned upon by most?

I'm just curious as to who accepts it? and who doesn't? Maybe as reasoning to why?

Ya know, curiosity seems to get the best of me around here. :)

Define "toilet play" - are you talking golden showers (urine) or scat (feces)?
 
in my case i wont do scat, though an "accidental" golden shower I might give ;)
 
I think, for many people, myself included, there are a multitude of reasons why excrement play is on their "Hard limit" list.

Personally, its human waste, and in the case of feces (and someone with a bladder infection) contains bacteria that can be harmful. It is something the body is rejecting that can make one ill. So no, its not something I would ever consent to involving in my play.

I spent too much time as a military medic to view urine or feces with any kind of possible attraction and seeing them turns my inner medic back on if they're outside a toilet.


It is possible that the people who do enjoy such play get off on it partly because of the social/cultural taboos involved with it. Society tells us that its a rule to not play with shit, so breaking that rule could be erotic for someone, I guess.
 
Golden showers I can handle, scatplay, not so much. I don't care what other people are into, but for me, it's just messy, and icky, and not at all a turn on. Accidental mess doesn't freak me out any more though.

Piss play seems more acceptable than shit. Squicky smell, and messy. The ick factor is just too high. i tried age play with a partner - baby stuff.
