Lost

No way! Not going to any fan sites anymore. Too many risks for spoilers and other fanatica nonsense. Little to no risk on this board. And the people who post here are way more ^hot^.. And frankly, much more articulate.

And I think the timelines are simultaneous; mirror reflections of parallel bizarre.

Lostpedia is pretty safe in terms of spoilers, as long as your caught up on the current episode.

Seriously. There isn't anything there that hasn't appeared on the show. The thing about Lostpedia, is that it allows for people to see the connections that are made.

I loved last night's episode much more than the previous one.

Who do you all think is the mother of David (Jack's son)? Please no LostWiki answers. I want to hear what you think on your own without the aid of diehard fans who dissect the show piece by piece.

The only thing I got from last night's enhanced episode was that Sawyer was jamming to the song, "The Man From Tallahassee" while getting drunk when Locke the Smoke Monster showed up. Not that the title matters one iota, but it's what I saw while walking from one room to the next before the NEW episode aired.

Only mentioned it because last week when it was playing I figured hardcore fans were scrambling to know what that song was so last night I said to myself, 'Well, you got yer answer...'

Oh, and good find, Beco. Didn't see The Candidates listed, oddly enough.

*gives you the finger*

To put your mind at rest: NO ONE KNOWS.

Not even The Lostpedia people. They know just as much as we know, seeing as they are fans like we are. They do keep seperate the "theory" pages, so you won't get "spoiled" (seeing as they don't have spoilers to begin with). Honestly, I use it as a reference guide.

My own personal theory is that it's Sarah Shephard, Jack's ex-wife. I'm sure we will never know.

I agree the Candidate thing was a ^great^ catch, I completely missed that. And now I am formulating my thoughts around the candidates and the dial and how those elements whirl around and fit into one another.

I think Jack's mother and that house have some complicated meaning, but I don't know where it fits in. Will the Man from Tallahassee show up at the house? Are Jack and Locke brothers? What does that mean for Claire and Christian?

That song was "Search and Destroy" by The Stooges. The song was also played in the epsiode "The Man from Tallahassee".

Why you gotta give me the finger? How rude. This is a Lost discussion thread. I'd rather read YOUR OWN thoughts and comments over being directed to a place full of hardcore Lost fans via a link. Hells Bells, Big Gator. I'm a big girl, I can google the fuck out of the world if I want. In this thread, I don't want LostWiki thankyouverymuch.

Sarah Shephard.... see, now we are getting somewhere.

Now who the fuck is Sarah Shephard?

Is she the one Jack helped during spinal surgery or some shit my beau muttered last night without remembering details nor a name?

Yes. I just assumed she was the kid's mom, but now that you mention it...who the hell knows?

If you want facts, I'll give you Lostpedia. Like right now:

Now see, this is where Lostpedia would become helpful.

Jack's mother is Wonder Woman, no?

Pretend you have never heard of Lostpedia and mark an impression on me and the rest of us clueless horny fucking Lost fans in here.

This is Lit E Rot iCa so links to other forums in Lost threads will only get you strung up by your balls and - well, I think that'll do until the next episode. Might give you some water every other day but that's a big might.

Lost is getting better and better, I can't believe it. It's like my wildest dreams coming through.

I love it how they again re-booted the show and its whole concept. also, I'm very glad they move away from the fast-paced, action-sci-fi-oriented always-moving-plot and actually re-do season 1, i.e. character-driven, emotion-oriented mystery-myth show. They even connect the centricity-episodes so far, both in content and theme ("Walkabout" = "Substitute" / "White Rabbit" = "Lighthouse"; next episode called "Sundown" and in Season the next episode was Sun-centric)

This show effin' rocks!

If everyone is indeed happier in the sideways timeline, maybe its heaven or the afterlife. I know in the past some have suggested that the island was Purgatory.

Was Jacob really trying to bring someone to the island? He did mention that they would have to find another way. I'd love to see Desmond return but I think there's a better chance he shows up in the sideways timeline. Jacob wanted the wheel turned to 108, the end of the dial. The last name was Wallace, not sure if that could be Walt or not.

I hate this fucking show now. What makes it worse, much worse, is that I can no longer stop myself from watching, either.

I haven't given up on the afterlife theory, even though the writers have denied that's what's happening (I gotta stop reading those Lost articles, wild speculation is just more fun). But the storylines just feel like whatever purgatory is; smells like whatever purgatory is, or what I imagine it would be. And I think Desmond has got to show up, with or without Penny, in the next two episodes. And Walt? Walt comes back. With the dog.
