Lost

I'm with you on the Clare is totally nuts thing. I love seeing her go rogue Russo on everyone. Sayid is next, he'll look great as a crazy woodsman nutball with those sexy, dark locks. The transformation should be coming.

Also, this:
4+8+15+16+23+42=108, the number Jacob told Hurley to set the dial.
Jack = 23

Did anyone catch who is 4, 8, 15, etc?

I totally should have caught that......thats why I have to watch the enhanced episodes;)

No, I can't remember which were which. I guess Sayid will go with Locke, after he invades the temple and kills everyone I assume, Jin will go with Hurley and Jack, leaving Kate as the wildcard I suppose.

Jin looks destined for Team Jack + Hurley. Jin's shift with Clare about Kate raising Aaron last night was strange. I wonder what's brewing there?

OK, two episodes just popped up in my Hulu queue at the same time.

"The Substitute" and "Lighthouse," and they both have air dates of Feb. 23.

I'm pretty sure I saw "The Substitute" last week.

They didn't just air two episodes back-to-back, did they?

Yes. The Substitute was an "enhanced" episode last night. Lighthouse is the new episode.

They did, yes. They do the previous week's catchup episode with the nifty little captions, followed by the new ep.

Is your av a pic from the Swan station? Why does that look so familiar?

Ah, that's why it came up.

I'm not disposed to re-watch an episode because of a few additional minutes.

If they wanted me to see them, they should have included them initially.

It's from Battlestar Galactica.

It's Tory Foster, special aide to the President of the Colonies, flushing Chief Tyrol's wife out of an airlock, because she's just discovered that Tory and her own husband are actually machines.

It's not even additional minutes, it's more like a "pop-up video" version. I kind of like them; they point out things I may have missed initially.

Claire......WTF?!?!

Nice hair.....

I usually just watch the show, not paying that much attention to numbers and clues, but I couldnt help noticing when Hurley said to the Asian man in the tomb, that he was a "Candidate" and then allowed to continue, on the little sign at the auditorium where Jack's son was playing his piano recital, the sign at the entrance also said, Candidates, was wondering if anyone caught that.

Hmmm, no, I didn't. I wonder, what's the significance of Jack being a father in the "flash-sideways"?

I think Jin just realized what would happen to him and even Kate for that matter if he continued to tell the truth. Which Claire pretty much confirmed afterwards.

That I did I notice. I catch the odd thing lol

I like the enhanced episodes as well. Not sure what it means that Jack has a son in the sideways version. He looks to be happier in that timeline, which totally blows my thought that everyone was going to be worse off had they not been on the island out of the water, or so it appears. Hurley sure looks better off.

Hurley has said he wasnt happy in RL. He likes the island.....

It doesn't seem "sideways."

It's as though there are two separate and distinct timelines, one where the plane crashes, and one where it doesn't.

It's interesting. And it's building up a lot of the story that occurred before the flight.

Also... Katey Sagal.

Lostpedia is your friend.

See, that's a tidbit I picked up from the enhanced episode! And the ABC site confirms it.

A flash sideways is not a flashback, flash-forward or an alternate timeline. It posits what would have happened if Oceanic flight 815 didn't crash on the island but instead landed in Los Angeles.

What if the Alternate Timeline/Flash Sidways stuff is actually a Flash Forward?

What if they are showing us the epilog at the same time they show us the end of the story?

Well, that's a tidbit I picked up from watching the regular show.

I almost wish they'd just stick with the non-crash timeline, though. It's more interesting.

No way! Not going to any fan sites anymore. Too many risks for spoilers and other fanatica nonsense. Little to no risk on this board. And the people who post here are way more ^hot^.. And frankly, much more articulate.

And I think the timelines are simultaneous; mirror reflections of parallel bizarre.
