So you're sitting down to watch a fun flick and you have nice big bowl of Popcorn. What do you put on your popcorn? What kind of Popcorn do you use/eat?

Me? I usually get the Blast o Butter Microwave Popcorn.
I also add a bit of salt and fresh Black Pepper.

I only eat popcorn at the theater, and I love to slather it in that liquid butter there :D

I make real popcorn {on the stove} and use real butter and a sprinkle of salt.

The popcorn is Orville Redenbacher white corn and is popped using a hot air popper. Once done, it is slathered in melted Land O'Lakes salted butter and liberally seasoned with celery salt ( my old man was experimenting some fifty-five years ago and tried the celery salt— we've been using it ever since ).

Damn, I just started to salivate. Popcorn is taken very seriously in these parts; its preparation and consumption could be mistaken for a religious ceremony.

I enjoy Orville Redenbacher's 'Smart Pop Movie Theater Butter'. I usually sprinkle on some sea salt and Mrs. Dash or Butter Buds. Grated Parmesan or other cheeses are tasty too.

I generally air pop it and nuke it if I'm in a hurry. ;)

Organic popcorn here. (Eden, usually). With organic butter. And sea salt!

I pop the corn on the stove and then add a sprinkle of salt and a sprinkle of sugar - the salt-sweet thang is just in-fucking-credible. <drooool>

I like to pop my own corn in a pan on the cooker then either add butter and some sugar (I love sweet, so does my daughter, hubs is a salt man) or sometimes I make some toffee with brown sugar and butter and toss it in that for that sticky, toffee yumminess.

I like butter from a movie theater if it's not too salty. My favorite to eat at home is Orville's Pour over Cheddar.

I only eat popcorn when I nick in from someone else. Because one is tasty, five are still enjoyable, but after that it starts tasting like chewing cardboard.

I want a popcorn machine /microwave batch / something that can make me a handful of popcorns stat, not hundreds of them.

But when I eat´em they better be well salted and light on the butter.

I've taken a liking to plain microwave popcorn from Kroger. I little sea salt is all I use. I use to love the Pop Secret Homestyle, but I had to trim my budget and the store brand is a dollar cheaper.

A light coat of olive oil, salt, and garlic powder!

I usually use Orville Redenbacher and pop it in an air popper. Then I drown it in melted butter and sprinkle either salt or popcorn cheese seasoning on it.

Home-grown popcorn from dad's farm, popped the old-fashioned way, touch of salt and fresh grated parmesean from a wedge found at The Hill in St. Louis.

I know, I'm picky.

Popcorn is not as often encountered in the UK. I remember it from my days of going to the cinema, but that's about IT. IT had some sort of sugary-stuff on it, and there was a distinct flavour of butter as well.

And I've never found out what it IS.

I have a good microwave popper from Orville Redenbacher. I like the white popcorn and canola oil. I usually salted it (sometimes seasoned salt) but have been avoiding the salt these days. For an extra special treat, some melted butter drizzled on then tossed.

Air popped only. Prefer OR, but will take any when hungry. Chili powder is a must, along with a squeeze of lime and salt. Then you mix it all up real good. A low cal snack that keeps a farie slim.

Finally, a thread I can relate to, and maybe not get in trouble.

What do you put on your peanut butter?

Smuckers anyone?:cattail:
