I have always assumed cuckolding stories belong in "Loving Wives", but based on the angry and abusive comments these stories incite, the general readership doesn't agree. There are obviously many readers of "Loving Wives" who are highly offended by cuckolding stories, and are extremely bitter and unhappy to discover they are reading one. It's clearly the wrong category for this subject.

So what category is more appropriate .. Fetish?

Can we please have some consensus on this issue and perhaps get an executive decision?

First of all, welcome to the EF

Now for your question, your story is perfectly acceptable in "loving wives" category. You have to grow a thick skin and not let the "kill all cheating bitches" group get to you. You'll receive plenty of complaints, threats and the like about your story, just let them slide off your back and concentrate on the comments that criticize your writing and not your subject matter.

Furthermore, I wouldn't recommend putting your story into "fetish" unless it contains fetish element other than a wife cheating on her husband and he being happy about it. It would be moved to "loving wives" anyway.

Lastly, write for the pleasure it gives you, forget the people who cannot understand that your story (true or not) is only a story.

Fetish readers often complain if a story promises more fetish than it delivers. It could fit into that category if the husband's knowledge of what is going on is critical to someone's pleasure, perhaps his most of all. If he is tied to a chair, you can add bondage to the mix.

There is no pleasing everyone with any choice. "Erotic Couplings" is supposed to be one on one sexual encounters, so if the husband is watching, that makes it a kind of a threesome.

Many stories can fit multiple categories. I think the best thing is to pick story tags well and put it which category pleases you.

However, I contacted Laurel a few days ago with a question about adding a new cat Pulp Fiction. Her response to me was that this was what the tags were all about, a way of finding stories without adding new cats. So, be wise with the tags.

So post where you like and use tags. And if you don't have to, don't charge a hill to capture a flag you cannot. Do'nt post cheating stories in a "Loving Wives" cat... Take notice that LadyC is walking a safe distane behind you.

Yeah, I see a general reluctance to grow with the times. I hate to say this, Lit is where I have "grown" my creativity, but I might move on. Hate to do this, Laurel busts her ass to keep this thing going, but maybe she needs to realize the site has outsized her abilities?

Don't know. Just guessing. But what I don't have to guess about is where I post. And I choose to post at sites where they are, excuse me, younger and more forward-thinking.

The days of there being a real "Laurel", if there ever was, vanished when the original owner sold the site some years ago. I could post their names on here, but the software would remove them automatically.

The Loving Wives category says "tales of adventurous women and their mates", which would seem to fit both styles. It's not all bad posting in LW, your story gets read and voted on, you usually don't get too many threats against you. For every "I hope you die" comment, I've received a "I'll tell you what me and my husband do." If the category was split it wouldn't matter, the people writing the nasty notes get off on the story they say they hate because they're masochists.

I knew with my last interaction with Laurel that she is still at the helm. The only reason I am slow in posting my next Gerry series (interracial cat) is that I have an absolute TERRIBLE habit of starting and not finishing... well, I finish, all that matters, lol.

Calm down. Tags on lit are still a bit embryonic and it is clear that LW splits between the cuckolds and the axe-wielders, but hang on a moment.
