When I first started submitting stories to Literotica, it
was a real pain in the ass because I had to go through
the entire story in "Edit" mode and re-arrange all the
paragraphs.
After submitting the text, the preview was terrible, and
I had to spend the next 20 or 30 minutes going through
it in the edit mode to put all the dis-jointed paragraphs
back into place.
Example of submitted text:
My son and I decided to go swimming in the nude while
my husband sleeps upstairs, and my daughter is over at
her girlfriend's house.
*** This is the way I wrote it, but after I copy and paste
this text, it would look like this: ***
My son and I decided to go swimming in the nude while
my husband
sleeps
upstairs, and my daughter is over at her girlfriend's house.
So, I would have to spend time to edit the numerous
sentences/paragraphs back together in the edit mode.
Well, I figured out how to format the text so I do not have
to do any editing!
I am sure there are several methods, but this one works
for me.
Use Windows WordPad. Click on Start, Programs,
Accessories, WordPad.
After WordPad starts, click on "View", then "Ruler".
When you type your story, do not let any characters go
past "5" on the ruler.
After your story is completed, click on "File", "Save As",
and save the file as "TheStoryIWrote.wri".
***Note*** You have to type in TheStoryIWrote.wri
because there is not a "Save As" file type extension
for WRI
You must type in the full name of the file, then select
"Save".
Use the extension: WRI
The next time you use Windows Explorer to open the
file, it will automatically open with WordPad.
Life is much easier now. I can write a story, submit it,
then log off.
Carolyn
ps: I prefer being obnoxious, but sometimes my
medication actually works.
pss: After a little over 24 hours my latest story has had
10,775 reads. You got to love Literotica! God Bless you
guys, girls and especially the readers. I can't wait to check
my email!
