It is, indeed, possible....but it's hard. No matter where you go, you will run into the usual. By usual I mean you have the people who understand this lifestyle; what it is, what it can offer, and how it's supposed to be lived. Those ones know how to conduct themselves respectfully without bringing shame upon the name of BDSM and all things D/s . But then.....then you have the fakes, the posers, the self proclaimed 'Masters' and 'Dominants' who feel that just by placing a title infront (sometimes behind) their name, Master Jim-Bob can order around sussyslut and command her respect and submission.

Submission is a gift to be earned, and respected just as much as the Dominant who offers said submissive his firm but caring hand. I could name off all manner of websites just for the alternative, Alt.com, Collarme.com which I would have recommended a few years ago...but it's been in decline for a while. So on and so forth... I can't say stay away from those places, because I have met plenty of good people and helped plenty of submissives find their path. I didn't gain the title of Behavior Modifier that others gave me by NOT going on sites like that, but I was cautious of whom I dealt with while I was learning what it is I now know; I just advise that you exercise caution and know how to point out those that would use you as a doormat from those who are genuine and know what this crazy new fangled BDSM thing is all about.

I don't know, but I would be surprised if none of eHarmony's questions tried to elicit that information from the clients.

Yes she can...but like finding love anywhere in particular, it will involve a LOT of sifting through chaff.

My girl and I are happily together 9 months after meeting on here...and look set to continue that way for a long time to come. And I am pretty sure there are others like this.

But as has been said, most people on here are NOT looking for the long term, so be prepared for a lot of sifting.

One: I don't meet a guy one day and marry him the next. We would spend a year or two together.
Two: Distance would have a bearing on that as well.
Three: I seriously want to fall in love again, adore the man, get married and be two happy mature adults. Have an adventure together.

I don't believe it's any more a pipe dream than any other dreams. I think there are a lot more men than women who are looking for what you described, actually. The nice thing about meeting someone here is it can be a fairly safe way to explore some of the D/s things that turn you on while also developing the emotional side of the relationship.

As far as being in a fulfilling, loving mature relationship with a good man who will tie you up and drive you wild, it's absolutely possible. You just have to keep looking!
