The death of the Republican party

I notice the distinct absence of LT, UD, Zip, Pinkie, et al, most of whom were telling us how the Republicans were extinct, etc. Libs can fuck up a wet dream.

Even when they were here, they were absent.

Which of them will be the first to say this election doesn't matter?

Remember that bullshit?

The same bullshit as the "Death of the Democratic party" a few years before it?

Don't be so damn stupid and nearsighted. For the last 234 years there has been an ebb and flow of political momentum in the US. Always will be.

In the next decade at some point, sooner or later, the Republicans will regain control. Never doubt that. Then they'll fuck up like they always do, and the Dems will be back in power... The cycle will always repeat.

Who the fuck are you, asshole?

The bluest state in the union electing a conservative Republican to the Senate, is a sea change for Democrats.

It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.It doesn't matter.

It only happened because some guy randomly got brain cancer though.

But it's easy to see that the republicans will pick up seats in the next election, no doubt about it.

Health care reform is rather unpopular. People don't understand it, and the masses fear what they don't understand. Add to that the conservative movement exaggerating or outright lying to make it seem even more scary and confusing (death panels anyone??), and you have a recipe for voting down pro-reform politicians.

Remember that bullshit?

It’s amazing how the country was in love with obama, and in less than one year we are in divorce court. Hopefully the republicans won’t get drunk in this win and become just as arrogant.

We're all screwed though if there isn't health care reform. Seriously. I've worked in the field for a long time... It's a huge clusterfuck and needs an overhaul. I'm not 100% certain that the Dems plan is the best, but there's no other option at the moment (the repub's plans are meager at best).

Not only that, but the health care thing is worsening at an exponential rate - it's getting worse, faster, every year.

There you have it...the Liberal mind at work. They are the only ones smart enough to understand the healthcare bill.

IT'S UNPOPULAR BECAUSE PEOPLE DO UNDERSTAND IT.

Bullshit, the people are not stupid, they didn't elect Obama to socialize the nation. As usual, the leftists went too far.

Do you realize the nation has socialized healthcare already? It's called medicare and medicaid. And CHIP. And thousands of public hospitals. And a lot of other things.

And we have socialized fire departments.

And police departments

And military

And schools

And universities

And postal system

And the TSA

And utilities

And libraries

And about 100 other things.

Seriously, turn off the Limbaugh for a minute and look at the big picture.

Fool, I'm a moderate. I even voted for Mc-freaking-Cain.
