In the spirit of the other political affiliation topic I thought I'd make one just for the subbies. What kind of tasty vegan sammich would you like to serve me?

You didn't give an option for a bagel sammich. Avocado with sprouts and tomato go really well on either an onion bagel or a bagle with everything and a little (ok, a lot) roasted red pepper hummus for the spread. Can't speak for the zucchini because I've never had that on a veggie sammich before.

which is your favorite bread?

personally, i would go with ciabatta, but who knows. could you be a toasted panini guy? i have no idea. if they are all equally yummy in your book, then i would stick with the ciabatta. preferably toasted. i think avocados go better with toasted bread.

Oh, you don't have to put the avocado in the hummus, just toss it into the sammich. It's especially good in a whole wheat pita pocket. Good for when you're on the go too, just make sure to heat the pita pocket up a little so the pocket doesn't crack open.

Oh and Bett, you forgot to specifiy that the bread would be gluten-free. Hmmmm, can you get gluten free ciabatta?
