I feel for them, I do. I wish I can do something for them.

However, as the saying goes, charity begins at home. The peacekeeping force has been there since Clinton was in office and things were really bad in Haiti even before the earthquake. If we are asking ourselves what's the mission in Afghanistan, shouldn't we be asking the same about Haiti?

I was watching the news casts last night re. the earthquake. For a 5 min. spot I was watching 1 min. of coverage on the earthquake and the remaining 4 min. played like a Sally Struthers commercial.
