ICT you aren't missing anything!!! It's a PBS show that annoys the heck out of me... but it's immensely popular so obviously it has a following...

Oh man this is, no kidding, one of life's great pleasures. I did my own bit of change-counting a few Saturdays ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its the one moment in life where I get to feel a bit like Scrooge McDuck. I once had nearly $300 in change, all rolled and stored away for tough times, but I lost it all (along with quite a bit else) in a break-in.

Do you roll? Or just keep a running tally somewhere and keep all the change in a big container?

Counting change = the gift you give yourself.

Hi, i don't know you, but you have my sympathy. i could offer a hug but you might be offended. Your discovery leads to so many wories and concerns that it might help you to talk to someone. Wish I could be your "ear" but I'm sure you have friends here and outside who can and will listen to you. Hopefully that will ease your pain.

ICT I love to count change. In an almost unhealthy way. I make little piles of it, then roll it. It's the only semi-OCD thing about me.
