Help me remember this artist's name

I want to say his name is something like David Macginnis, but that gets me nothing on google, etc. He was active something like the 50s through the 70s, did thousands of book cover illustrations, many romance novels, but also some of those hardboiled dick kinda stories. He also did lots of partial nudes, including very funky women (as in cool 70s chicks, can ya dig it). I used to keep a nice stash on my hard drive for inspiration/instruction - don't know what happened to them.
