I think at this forum there are those who really practice different ways of bondage and suspension bondage (strappado?).
Please, refer to this movie as an example:
http://bdsmhub.com/videos/suspension-and-whipping/
Does anybody practice something like this?
As it looks very hard and, as for me, even dangerous, but may be I am mistaken?
Or, may be, it's normal if a weight is not very considerable. At the example, referred by me above, everything looks hard, but, nevertheless, I wouldn't tell it's painful for the lower one. Or, may be, she is an athlete or has some special physical preparation?
I'd like to hear your opinion related to such type of bondage-suspension or related to this topic.
Thx

I'm suspended on a semi-regular basis. What do you want you know? I'm confused about what sort of information you are looking for, exactly.

I think his questions are:

Do people practice activities like those in the video? (Probably)
Is it dangerous? (Yes if you don't know what you're doing, same as anything else fun in the world [it's quite difficult for accounting to be dangerous])
Is it painful for the suspendee? (Not that I've heard, although I'll naturally defer to those who've been suspended)
Is there any special physical preparation one can undertake to make the process easier? (Yoga, being born double-jointed?)

I think his questions are:

Ah, yeah, I picked those out but all of his questions were all jumbled together in a way that, I don't know, made me confused as to whether he wanted answers to those specific questions, or just a general discussion on the topic.

Anyway,

Do people practice activities like those in the video?
I didn't watch the video you linked, but yes, people do enjoy bondage and suspension bondage. I do.

Is it dangerous?
It can be, but so can anything else until you learn to do it properly. Bondage and suspension bondage can be dangerous even for people experienced with it, but its all about knowing what you are doing, being aware, and knowing how to minimize the risks as much as possible.

Is it painful for the suspendee?
It can be. Some suspensions are easier and more comfortable than others. For example, a relatively straight forward face-up suspension will be pretty comfortable while a one ankle inversion will probably be pretty painful/uncomfortable. But everyone is different. Some people have a higher pain threshold and than others. Some people are better at dealing with uncomfortable situations than others.

Is there any special physical preparation one can undertake to make the process easier?
Again, everyone is different, but yes, there are some things I've found that can help. The main thing that will make being suspended easier is knowing your body and being vocal about your body, and how you are feeling. Also just being suspended a lot, you learn about your body, and get better at accustoming your body to the different sensations. Its sort of like "practice practice practice" except more like, "experience experience experience." The more you experience suspension, the easier it is. Also, yes, being in shape helps, some people say practicing yoga helps, but in my experience, suspension can be easy and enjoyable for just about anyone as long as they know their body, are aware of their limits and what their body is telling them, and are willing and able to be vocal about it with their top.

Unfortunately I can only give you info from the bottom's side of things.

Where is Homburg w/ the tops side?
