Poll: 52% of Pubs think ACORN stole the election for Obama

I was just challenged.

I proved. Are you saying the wingnut standard is higher than yours?

Why did you ignore the follow up to the love of your political news Nora?

Fair and Balanced are you?

What are you even talking about?

Good grief.....

What does Nora Odonnell have to do with anything other than I think shes pretty.

Pretty mean, now back up your medicare statement with some facts or shut the fuck up.

Dude theres three people reading the thread. You, me and Rob. Who am I proving anything too?

lol

Rob and I are on the same page and you live on Mars and dont believe anyone.

Are you denying that some of the same people that ragged on the plan at your parties teabagger rallies and town hall teabagging get downs are on Medicare?

lol

No facts, but lots of hate and vile.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the modern Democrat Party.

Contemporary leftists, on the other hand, view their opponents as people you send off to the Gulag, unworthy of any respect, deserving of any kind of low blow, no matter how foul. So you accuse Goldwater of insanity, slander Justice Thomas as a sexual monster, casually publish plays, books, and films calling for the assassination of President Bush, and assault the first serious Republican female candidate at her weakest point -- her family. And of course, you scream to high heaven if any form of turnabout occurs in your direction, as in the case of the Obama family, which was declared "off limits" early in the presidential campaign, at the same time that Palin's family was being stretched on the media rack.

This style of political loathing has become effectively innate. It has been systemized to such a degree as to become integral. Modern liberalism cannot do without it. An entire structure has been erected on the basis of political hatred, and from that structure a whole new strategy has arisen.

Obamaremorse isn't in the Urban Dictionary, but this is almost as good.

Obamarectomy

1.A sudden disillusionment with Obama's presidency as the result of a policy failure or public relations blunder.

I had hoped that understanding the details of the economic recovery package Obama proposed would restore my faith in the economy. I expected to find hope, but all I got was an obamarectomy, instead. Now, I will never vote for the guy again.

It's a moot point either way. He's in office and even if there was solid proof of fraud to steal the election or he isn't qualified to be president (via the birthcertificate cover-up and I'm not saying either), nobodys going to remove him from office.
The democrats wouldn't impeach him, he would not resign and if it went to the courts the supreme court wouldn't remove him. I doubt the PC military would oust him so the bottom line is were stuck with him.
What matters is how good of a job he is doing. He is failing badly. His number 1 priority should be the economy. If everyone's working then theres plenty of tax revenue flowing into the treasury.
He said the afghan war was the right war, fine let the generals who's profession is fighting do their job. You want it to end, let them fight to win, don't throw political hancuffs on the military.
As an independent I don't care if Obama is driving the whole democratic party off the cliff, which BTW he is doing. If your a democrat you should be scared shitless if this obama care passes because your party will be taking all the heat & never recover from this boondoggle.

I see Throb waited only until the facts showed up...

Typical.

Uh, Casualencounter, you will soon find out, if you're not a Democrat you are a lying Republican, there's no such thing as an Independent to the party of "the educated."

Actually, at present, the state of public opinion on that is very complicated:

Americans are intently following Congress' health care debate, backing reforms but fearing what the price tag will be, according to a new national survey by Angus Reid Public Opinion.

The poll of 1,005 American adults found 75 percent following the health care debate closely, although 20 percent have no opinion on the reform plan passed by the House earlier this month.

Among those who have opinions, 41 percent of Americans support the House bill - a very different plan may pass the Senate - while 39 percent oppose it. Democrats (62 percent) and Independents (48 percent) give at least qualified approval, while 70 percent of Republicans give it thumbs down.

A slim majority, 51 percent of those surveyed, fear that the House bill could increase the cost of health care in America: Just 15 percent think prices will go down, although a major goal of the bill is to give health insurers some competition.

On individual issues, however, the public is pro-reform. A sampling:

* 89 percent would forbid insurance companies from cutting off coverage after a person becomes sick;

* 77 percent support providing subsidies so that low and middle-income American can buy insurance.

* 83 percent would prohibit health insurance companies from refusing coverage based on a patient's medical history.

* 80 percent would prohibit health insurers from charging different rates based on a patient's gender.

* 84 percent would limit how much people can be charged for out-of-pocket expenses.

Just over half of those surveyed - 52 percent - support the so-called public option, a government-run insurance plan that would provide an alternative to private insurance plans.

A slightly higher majority - 54 percent - approve of the House vote to prohibit use of federal money for insurance that covers elective abortions.

The abortion issue reveals wide partisan differences. Despite their party's pro-choice stance, 46 percent of Democrats back the abortion ban. But the figure swells to 69 percent of Republicans and 58 percent of independents.

The poll was conducted November 10 and 11, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.

Oh AJ, there you go again.

I asked for proof that Bush was BEHIND 9/11 and what do you do?

You give me polls indicating how many people believed that Bush KNEW about the hijackers ahead of time.

A number of people, myself included, recall the famous Presidential Daily Briefing of August 6, 2001. You might recall the title: Bin Ladin (sic) Determined to Strike in US LINK

It's only been declassified and available since 2004, so I understand if it hasn't reached your neck of the woods yet, you being on dial-up and all.

So yes, a number of people believe that Bush had advance warning about proposed terrorist attacks. Hardly anyone, though, believes Bush and Bin Laden were working together.

Nice attempt at trying to confuse the issue, though. Very Palinesque.

About 30% of the population identifies itself as Republican.

That means about 15% of the total population, a number equivalent to the number of people on the Left who, like Charlie Sheen, think Bush blew up the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion for Haliburton and "Big Oil" profits via "war."

Of the two groups, the former has a lot more actual evidence and far less conjecture.

And better yet, no muy hush-hush secret conspiracy...

False equivalency rears it's ugly head once again....and oh, look, what a surprise it's an AJ post!!

Now AJ, being an honorable man like you are, I'm sure you'll have no problem whatsoever documentin' your incredible claim about the number of people who agree that Bush was the evil mastermind behind the 9/11 tragedy.

I'll wait right here.

Dood, do you even read what you post?

Forget the polls, they are for politicans. Talk to the guy on the street. Everyone I know wants congress to stop spending money we don't have.
People with jobs are worried they will lose theirs if the economy gets worst. People without jobs want one. How will Obama care address those 2 things? it won't. The Obama/Reid/Pelosi plan is loaded with new taxes few can afford. You wanna do healthcare reform? fine , fix the economy and do it later when we can afford to.

Here's a poll that is as true now as it was in the 90's. What's the 1 issue on everybodys mind? IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID.

 That's what the pollsters do.

Everyone I know wants congress to stop spending money we don't have.

"Everyone I know" is not a representative statistical sample of the population, no matter who is the "I" speaking. Pollsters know how to get statistical samples.

It won't; but the stimulus package will help the economy recover. At least, that is the current consensus of economists. Of course, in such situations the employment rate is usually the last thing to recover.

A full-blown Canadian-style single-payer plan (which is not on the table at present) would help stimulate employment, by removing health insurance as an element of labor costs employers must consider when deciding whether to create or eliminate a position.

and are the same who think he won the election without Acorn voter registration fraud.
Not to start the whole ACORN dumbnity again, but I noticed you were careful to call it, correctly, "voter registration fraud." That means you seem to understand that the "fraud" was the registering of fake names--of non-people.

I'm just curious: if you know that, how were you thinking that those non-people--"Sir Burger King," for example--helped anyone win an election without voting?
