Rooting for presidents to fail

Is everyone here LT now?

Or are there no new witty rejoinders left?

Or... did I misread the syntax of the comma?

Oh that's right, only you get to call people out when they make completely idiotic posts.
You wouldn't know an idiotic post if it bit your dog. Some of your posts may already have done that.

Who is writing your material these days, LT?
He's been writing my posts from day 1.

What, do you wear the same t-shirt that says "CLUELESS" on the front and back every damned day?

I think your post was pretty damn idiotic.

Saying that the president doesn't lead anything is rather moronic.

Of course, perhaps you would care to enlighten the rest of us about who leads the executive branch.

When did the whole world forget that you can disagree with someone without being an asshole?

Silly girl. You forget where you are. This is the Literotica General Board. Certain rules of common respect are bent here, like when the energy of light is bent by a gravitational force stronger than creation.

Here, when men (men meaning in the "figurative" men) have nothing to say, no point to make and still feel the need to have a identifiable voice amongst the throng of easily forgettable billions out there in virtual reality land, why, you just simply tear down your fellow man! Either by being an asshole directly or by being a passive-aggressive pussy in using pseudo-wit snark! It's that simple and you get to make one more notch in your post count belt, the exact same notch that you would've been able to make by making a more community-considerate and topically intelligent post, either of which goes towards solidifying your status quo of membership by fiat of numbers! Because the more posts you make, the bigger fish you are in the pond! And who wants to be a lil' ol puny tetra and eat protein flakes from a shaker when you can be a narwhal and spear fuckers with your helical tusk?

Ain't the internet fun? ;)

I've never forgotten. I only flame someone who flames me first. Even then I try not to. However, if I always ignored insults people might think I was intimidated by them.

Those with the largest number of posts per day tend to be the most vacuous.

It took me a while to figure out your use of bold face until one day my brain knocked on the inside of my skull and said, "Dumb-dumb: comic books."

There can't be any other reason. They must feel that if they don't have a high post count that they don't matter or that their "voice" won't have any impact and recognition. There are times I see the three-to-four consecutive four-to-five worded say-nothing posts by the same person and I'm like..."why?"

Yup! Even when I write and script out stuff by hand, I underline the stress words in character dialogue unconsciously. Ahhh, good ol' influences. I blame Chris Claremont and the X-Men. :D

You are, of course, right. It still sucks though.

You shouldn't care what people think about you hon. People only flame people they care too much about. And I don't mean care as in love or like.

Does post count really mean anything when someone's been here for like, three or four years?

Should I be shutting up before someone thinks I'm vapid?

What is my post count? *looks at profile*

Oh, nevermind. :D

The Republicans seem to have forgotten

Yeah, okay, whatever. I'll say this again. Republicans and Democrats are no better than each other. Every side has it's hateful nasty wingnuts. To act like one side's better than the other because one side is NICER than the other is complete rubbish.

You must have blinders on. It's one thing to disagree with someone, even in an unpleasant manner. But when you invoke racism and bigotry into the mix it crosses the line.

We're being polite and most of us are being respectful.

Before the election we kept saying that the policies being advocated by the then-candidate and his team would be disasterous for the economy and the libs responsed by saying something to the effect...."yo mama wears army boots" which I take as a complement, of course, being southern and all. We said, "hey, listen young people, I know that you believe this guy walks on water, but the fact is that his policies will make jobs scarce for you young people." They laughed, called us more names and the tried to look serene and say with feigned authority "It will work this time because there's a new sheriff in town and he aint George Bush.

Then the election took place and the jobs continued to dissappear despite astronomical new spending and the economy continued to descinigrate particularly hittin the ebullient youth who overwhelmingly supported Obama and the contriction of jobs for them.

What's there to like about these policies?

Oops.

It's racism now. It was classism with Bush. It was both with Clinton. It was ageism with Reagan.

Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

What you say is true with repect to the loss of jobs and the economic downturn. However, your time line is out of kilter. This all began on Bush's watch not Obama's. What took years to create will not be corrected overnight.

Oh sure, the republicans are the only evil ones and the poor innocent democrats have NEVER EVER done aaaaanything bad. Those nasty, bad Republicans with their name calling, their spin, their hatefulness. The victims should get reward money or awards for being such good, nice, wonderful, perfect people who have never said anything so derogatory as those awful Republicans.

It's racism now. It was classism with Bush. It was both with Clinton. It was ageism with Reagan.

I've posted this a few times, but I will again. The economy is turning around, but it will take awhile to get the country back on track after GW ran it off the rail.

In a report released Tuesday by Thomas P. DiNapoli, the comptroller of New York State, Wall Street profits in 2009 are on track to exceed the record set three years ago, at the height of the credit bubble...

The national economy is slowly improving, but Wall Street has recovered much faster than anyone had envisioned,” Mr. DiNapoli said in a statement...

“Wall Street remains the engine that drives New York’s economy,” Mr. DiNapoli said in a statement. “It’s encouraging that the industry is recovering faster than forecast.”
