Hi,

I submitted a story that included a 17 year old who did not participate in sex but who did view a sex act between adults. The story was rejected because of this.

Other stories on this site contain expository descriptions of minors viewing sex acts between adults in the past, and these stories were obviously approved.

The submission guidelines simply ban minors from participating in sex and are mute on the subject of minors viewing sex acts. So is it simply left up to the individual editors? Or is there an unwritten rule that things which happened in the past are allowed but the same things happening in the present are not?

Voyeurism is a sex act. Why try to finagle the age issue at all if you aren't just trying to finagle the age issue?

If you want to write/read underage stories, there are sites for that. Of course they are increasingly monitored by the police and linked-in computers are traced. If hearing that knock on your door with a newspaper reporter standing behind the policeman is your idea of fun, go for it--on one of those sites, please.

Maybe because it's a standard story category on porn story sites?

Maybe. Viewing arson doesn't constitute arson; viewing an author at work doesn't constitute writing. Does viewing a sex act constitute a sex act? I don't know. But the rules here are the rules here; it is what it is.

For the official line on this from the owners see http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2151906#post2151906 which was posted in 2002.

This link doesn't mention voyeurism per se but I do get the overarching point.
