My husband hasn't been well and at 4am this morning he went over to the local hospital. They've done tests and have found out he is suffering with Meningitis. He is having intravenous penicillin now and is doing okay.

But I would appreciate any spare prayers and good wishes you might have for him.

He's nothing if not unpredictable, we just thought he had a sinus infection or something!

I've just got back from visiting and he is better than he was this morning. Still obviously unwell but he does seem to be being looked after well. I feel better just for seeing him.

Oh, many people have it a lot worse, I'm just thankful we got him into hospital quickly enough and he's being well looked after now. And I have many good friends and great family who are a great blessing.

I have had meningitis twice, and my ex wouldn't even take me to the hospital, he was so abusive--and I survived. It will be okay--you are lucky your man is sensible enough to go! I have had men in my life that it is like taking an unwilling St.Bernard itno the vets office, to get them to see a doctor or dentist! We love you, EL--prayers and blessings your way, pronto!
