On the heels of an interracial couple being discriminated against when trying to get a marriage license (link to story below), I ask you all this:

In this day and age, how do you all feel about interracial dating or marriage.
Would you ever date someone of a different race? Does race really matter to you all? I know we all have our preferences to what and who we find attractive. Who do you lot fancy?

I think making a fuss about interracial relationships, refusing to marry them and such, is most absolutely racist. This article really upsets me. I find many races attractive, males and females. I like asian and european men and women particularly, but if someone is hot, they just are.

In this day and age, for a justice of the peace to say such things is complety stupid. Many same race marriges end badly, and for him to enter the lame plea of "i was thinking of the upcoming children" is compleatly false. I am a pagan, and legaly married by a JOP...what if he didnt approve of my (compleatly personal worship choices) self to "marry"...i would like to point out that JOP's are entiled to effectivly "civil union" people..."marriage" is a religious misnomer, and if a belife system "outlaws" or "refuses to recognize" certain pairings, that is there right, but the GOVERNMENT has no OBLIGATION to...well....let the "religious" refuse, and the JOP's continue to establish what is LEAGAL vs what is MORAL...

I have to agree with an earlier post and say that some people are hot and some people are ... um ... average. Race matters very little in my estimation of who is fuckable, but I am very finicky when it comes to those I want to stick my dick into. Perhaps too much so.

Back in high school (1970) I dated a Black girl - I'm a white guy - and yes there were negative comments from both races. Fastforward to 1985: I'm divorced and back on the dating circuit. Inter-racial dating was more acceptable at this point in time and attitudes became more positive as time progressed...but I still was asked the question about sex being better with Black women. In the 15, or so, years that I was single I dated a variety of women of different races/cultures and there was never a preference of one over the other. As for "preferences", it is personality and character that is important. Ten years ago I married a Black woman and all is fine. When will people stop judging others by insignificant traits.
