A while back...a really long time ago, I joined this site and had fun posting some pretty erotic stories. Some seven years later, now, I rejoined under a different name, because I can't figure out what my pass word is and have changed e-mail some one million time since.
Anywho, I was glancing over my old work and I must say, I can't read it. It so filled with mistakes and errors, I don't know how I was not kicked out of this site. God! Horrifying.
But then I had to think, I was much younger, a lot less experienced and quite frankly writing off of hormones which one is not supposed to do when writing erotica.
I must admit, I wish I would have not left this site and stuck with my writing. I believe that if i did, I would be an established writer by now. I mean, where else are you going to get all this great feedback and critique? I am also a member of Kevin Spacey's triggerstreet.com which is cool, but you have to post a review before posting a story and most times I don't feel like reading crap so I just give a generic review as do most people on the site, you know the one that goes, "Great story, I love the way you write, Bla bla bla until you get to 100 words and get your points towards posting.
But this site, you gotta love. Brutally honest people unashamed to post their thoughts, this is just what I needed.
Any way. I was reading through a few of the post about editors. I am now on this pipe dream of becoming a writing and found this great group of editors. The site is Words into print. They ain't cheap but if you are looking to get your words and stories to the next level, this is who you should look into.
I hired one of the ladies there and will be working with her for about a month or so and I am excited.
I would really like to get some feedback from my old stuff. I posted a new story, but kind of regret it because it was not ready. But I have another one that I will be posting soon.
I think I have ranted enough. I look forward to taking to all of you soon.
