What kind of camera do you use to take naughty pics of yourself and others?

I'm shopping for a camera. It needs to be easy to use. Unobtrusive. It's mainly to take pictures of me in my lingerie...

I'm not much of a photographer and the lighting in my house isn't the best.

I mostly just want camera buying tips but would also be interested in any sort of sexy picture taking conversations.

It's a

Kodak Easyshare. My cable fried and to get a new one is like 1/3 of price I paid for the camera so I'm thinking of upgrading.

Shy what is your price range of choice? There are so many choices. Best to look for one that is easy to load your pics and has good ability for you to see the pics you are taking.

Shy, I have a Canon PowerShot A470 - super simple to use, self-timer, great picture quality, & a snap to upload. Not tragically expensive, either. I think it was right around $100. Bought it on QVC during their "easy pay" marathon, so only $20 a month, really. Good to keep an eye out for the deals, I guess. :)

under $200 but maybe up to $250 if it's REALLY good? Would like to stay under $200 though. LOL I know sounds backwards.

Get a small unit with zoom built in. Get one with a memory stick and a memory stick reader. The flash will be enough if you turn on the lights in the room and use a full length mirror. Get one that allows a remote control to fire the camera. Or make sure it can use a remote and then order it after the fact.

Or get a tripod, aim it where you will be on the bed, etc and set it timer, or use the remote control, that is some thing that you should look for if you dont want to use the mirror. With enough lights on in the room you will get semi decent quality that you can take with you.

If you need more information PM me or email me.

I've had experience with 3 different Canon PowerShot models (other peoples cams). Great pic quality for the price. I own two Sony DSC series cams, and they've done their job, but probably will not buy one again.

You might like to take a look at the Pentax K-M (K2000 in some regions). Entry class SLR that is a good stepping stone from point&shoot to full SLR.

My hubby uses a Canon 5Dmark 2...it takes wonderful shots...sometimes too much detail :D

I am just learning my way it so I can get some behind the lens time too. For now I use an old Olympus digi cam.

One word of advice is not to get too caught up in the mega pixel thing..In this case...more isn't always better

i'd say.. go for the MP, cause thats what photoshop is for..
a little soft filter does wonders where you want it.

Sony Cybershot

is what I ended up with. Way over $200. Having lots of fun so far.

Can't Go Wrong with Cannon

KnottyNurse and myself use a Cannon Powershot S3. At some point I will upgrade it. But for now it does a great job. Cannon in general is a brand of camera you can't go wrong with. You can really improve your photos by just playing with ISO settings on any camera. But when your at Best Buy or where ever testing out cameras take photos for blue and red things as these are the colors that most digital cameras have trouble with. See if the store will let you print out some of the photos. You want to avoid a grainy look on red and blue objects.

I also use Photoshop to do some color correction and image resizing and sharpening.

hope that helps.

This is one I took with my new camera I think it really did a good job with the red.
