Whats Your Favorite Perfume?

I'm doing research, if you must know!

The last time I bought perfume was 1966 and MY SIN was popular.

My wife likes Anais Anais.
Channel No 5 was the favourite of a GF.
My mother's favourite was always Tweed (Lentheric),
another GF loved it.

I'm not big on perfume.

Nor am I like Napoleon, who liked his woman ripe.

Just fresh and clean does it for me.

Good luck with the research.

It depends on how I feel. When I go out somewhere special, I usually wear Lancome Tresor or Guerlain's Champs Elysees. For an everyday sort of fragrance, I wear Juicy Couture.

Depends on the mood for me too

For every day wear : Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, Perry Ellis for women (comes in red, white or blue--I prefer the white), or Emporio Armani Diamonds (that one is a little heavier so I tend to wear it only with suits), or Ralph Lauren Romance (only with sundresses).

For evening : Bulgari Notte', or Hugo Boss Deep Red

I also tend to color coordinate with my fragrances, just one of my quirks, if I'm wearing blue, I go with the Dolce & Gabana, red or black and it's the Hugo Boss, etc.

My mother only wore L'Air Du Temps. If I'm feeling nostalgic I occasionally dab on a bit of that, even though it smells completely different on me than it did on her.

Shalimar, Estee Lauder, White Diamonds and Bob Mackie are scents I enjoy on a woman. :D

Around here, a lot of thirtysomethings like Obsession. The younger ladies seem to prefer inexpensive body sprays. But like I said, that's just around here (San Antonio).

I've noticed that too around here (Austin) too Slyc.

Must de Cartier for me, though it's itself kinda vintage. I only wear it for dressy occasions, though. The rest of the time, I'll take a discreet, cleanly-smelling body mist, or no fragrance at all.

Balenciaga which is very hard to find but very good if a guy has seriously stuffed up is pretty well received as is Diorisimo.:)

The wifey prefers White Diamonds. So White Diamonds she receives. :)

Hmmm. When I rule the world you'll settle for one scent: OLD SPICE for gals.

You and I have similar taste. I'd add to that Youth Dew and an oldie, Tabu, which I just love. I also often just wear rose geranium oil which smell deliciously of musk lollies. Watch Chanel No.5, it can provoke allergies as can a lot of the white flower scents. If you like floral, I'd go for YSL Paris or Calvin Klien Eternity.

What, exactly, about a perfume attracts or repels you?

With many of the stronger scents my allergies/sinuses protest. My choices are light enough they don't bother me. I never spray any of them above my waist either. Floral I can do without.

My wife (middle aged) prefers nothing. Floral scents she abhores. Many younger women I work with go for a body spray, not perfume. The older ladies I work with range from nice mild scents to overwhelming "walking through a field jasmine" scents.
