Prat and being a prat.

There was a young man on the news tonight who killed himself.

It was in a Van.

His passenger was seriously injured.

Now I have loads of sympathy with the injured passenger and I so do hope he fully recovers.

But. Was the elder who was driving on roads recently deluged by heavy rain a prat?

Now I mean no offence to people with the surname of Prat because they already know that they are Prats. But. It is described that to be a prat you need to do a prattish thing.

Being a Prat does not mean that you are a prat or that you do prattish things. But there are lots of people that are not Prats that do things that could be called prattish and could be called a prat for doing them.

As I said before. I mean no offence to Prats who do not act like prats.

I do not mean to be a prat.

Should there be some apothrophies?

Weren't the Van Prats Swiss yodelers? When I figure out what you were trying to convey, I'll get back to you.

Then there's the nursery rhyme 'Jack Sprat could eat no prat...'
