Hi all, I've posted some stories on Lit, but now I wish to remove them and can't figure out how. I've emailed Lit. a few times but so far no answer.

Any ideas?

Refile them with a "Delete" added to the title line and a note that you want them deleted in the "Notes" box. Instructions on this are given in the FAQs page on story submission.

You can also create a new story in your submission page entitled "Delete" and in the text field list all stories you wanted deleted. That was the info I got straight from Laurel, and used it to delete three stories in one swoop.

Hey! This is good info to know. I just deleted two multi-chapter stories (nine chapters each), the LONG way...resubmitting each (without the story text of course) and including DELETE at the end of the title. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future story deletions.

Use slyc_willie's method, but in the future, never email anyone. Always send PMs. Emails go unanswered, but PMs are usually answered within 24 hours. :)

Not sure how to find Laurel to PM her? Either open your USER CP (near the top of the page) and click on Send New Message (on the left side), then enter Laurel in the "To:" field. Type your message, hit send.

Or, find Laurel's name among the forums here, usually on the first threads on the AH, click on it and scroll down then click on Send a Private Message.

Of course, you must have Private Messaging enabled to do this. In order to make sure you do, click on USER CP again and then click on Edit Options. Under the "Messaging" header, find the check box with Enable Private Messaging. If there's a check mark there already, you're good to go. If not, put a check in the box, then click save changes, unless there's something else there you want to change.
