1. Hamlet - To be or not to be, that is the question.... Whether tis nobler in the mine and yada yada. I was so sick of hearing ac-TORs warming up to this soliloquy.

2. The Scottish Play Macbeth - yes. I'm THAT superstitious. But it's such a fun play to see.

3. Midsummer's Night Dream - Such a beautiful work. About his only one . Okay, and the way Neil Gaimon explained it's genesis in Sandman is sublime brilliance.

4. Romeo and Juliet. For some reason, people tend to think this is the ultimate love story *vomits* Hogwash. You want ultimate love story, this ain't it.

5. A Winter's Tale - It has the world's best stage direction: Exit, pursued by a bear.
