First of all, I would like to say that I'm a fan on the non-conscent stories.

Recently, after almost each story in this category, there is a comment of somebody (probably the same) who just tell shit about the author and the readers of this sort of story.

I understand that literotica is all about free speach and I don't want you to think that I call for some kind of censorship, but is there a moderator somewhere you could erase those lame comments that have obviously nothing to do with the quality of the story.

I know the this category can hurt some peoples, but still, is it a reason to blast these fantasies.

What do you think about it ?

I know what you mean and I agree. I wrote a story recently that I thought was pretty good, though not perfect. However, a huge objection was raised because I included butt sex in it and the person who had requested the story was only looking for a blow job.

It's a shame comments can't focus on the story itself and have to include personal attacks on the author.

I was thinking about this very same topic and happy I came upon your post. Recently wrote a non-consent story and someone said I was creepy and quoted points of the story that they disagreed with. My immediate thoughts were that the story was identified in the proper category...once the situation began that shows clearly where the story is headed the reader still continued reading it (at least far enough to be able to quote events that happened further)

In the end I decided that it wasn't my problem, as the writer, but the reader's. They were obviously driven to the story to continue to read it. They got their jollies and a guilt trip and tried to turn that into MY problem. I refuse to take the bait. I don't even remove the negative comments. I'm sure negative people revisit my post looking for a response or proof that I care. I only care about those that encourage me or give me 'constructive' feedback.

BTW, I considered the possibility that the reader came upon the story in the 'new' category as it had just been cleared in review. Not sure if there is a way to clearly identify the category when it is new. Still my feelings don't change. Stories that don't appeal to me, I stop reading and move on...

Thanks for listening.

As a reader, I mostly use the new section to browes the site. There is maybe 50 stories posted each day and the category is clearly indicated.

I think that this person read an quote the stories as some kind of vandetta against the category, no matter the quality of the submission.

I haven't posted in that cat in a while but Don and Donna, I think that was the supposed couple's name, was around back then calling everything rape without even reading the story. The comments were always followed by many many low votes. They got swept sooner or later but they killed the stories chances of ever having a high score.

I love reading the non-consent stories, I'm sure more people do than care to admit. I have spent hours there :D Thanks

I think by non consent they thought they were reading about rape.
Those two terms mean the same in life, but I've learned that's not so in fantasy story telling.
Even most romance novels have some sort of non consent in them.
I have two minds of this, I like it from my own mind control fantasies, yet I don't like it because it reminds me too much of rape, sympathizing with what the character must be feeling.

This comes from someone who makes a distinction between distasteful sexual humiliation, and stimulating sexual embarrassment.

Proud to be a pariah

Not only would I not delete the negative feedback but, when it was sent as an anonymous email I pasted it into a comment and posted it publicly on their behalf.
If this commentor has a name, authors could always contact Laurel and voice their concerns - she may bar that user to make a point but nothing would stop them signing up again.
Besides, free speech is important - without it, we'd all be in trouble for what we write. Perhaps for that reason, if no other, we have to put up with a little hate mail.
Personally, I pity anyone who has nothing better to do than slam other people's fantasies.

I agree with PepperPace here. I've seen these sorts of posts on nearly every nonconsent story I have read. Why are people reading if they don't like the category? I'm not a fan of incest stories, so I don't read them. These types must be enjoying it, feel bad for that, and then have to blame the author (as PepperPace says).

Actually what I was wondering was if this is the same person commenting, or a small group of people. The comment on my story of this type referred to "you creeps" and as Pepperpace's comment also used the word "creepy". Could be coincidence, or it could be the one person I guess.

Either way, it's a bit sad really.

I have to agree

I recently posted a "puff piece", something I wrote to clear my head while struggling with a more serious piece, which I just submitted. The first response was a triple of the same sentence by an anonymous reader, damning it and criticizing anyone who might actually enjoy it.

In addition, I received immediate email from someone who was very upset that the characters, in dialog, "use the Lord's name in vain." I had to scratch my head at that, but, just in case, I've removed all references from my later post. So, if you're wondering why there are no "Oh God"s or "Sweet Jesus"s (both heard quite often in my erotic experience), that's why. I guess I'm a whore for my readers. :D

But really, if it isn't for you then stop reading. If you have something "real" to express, good or bad, bring it on.

In the interest of free speech, I only deleted the two duplicates, and left the original.

I feel left out

My noncon stories are as creepy as anyone's, but I haven't received a true "sick, sick, sick" comment yet.

There does seem to be a heavy "sickedi dick"-comment trend assaulting the new section atm, however, so I think chances are good I'll get one for my newest, once it is approved.

One can always hope!

It would just fit so perfectly to that chapter.

Here look at this little cut out from the middle of the chapter:

quote:

"Tell me about that fantasy again, Lowish," demanded Ronald.

"Which one?" asked Louise, blinking away tears.

"The second one I made you tell me, yesterday afternoon. The one I liked."

"I have this fantasy about waking up in a stranger's arms," said Louise.

"Yes, that one," said 'Joe', still constantly circling her clit.

"And not knowing who he is or where I am." Louise paused trying to remember exactly how she had told it last.

"Keep talking."

"He holds me tight, so I can't escape," said Louise.

"You are one very sick kitten, Lowish," said 'Joe'.

"In the fantasy I am gagged so I can't scream for help. Can't even tell him to stop."

"You should be ashamed of yourself," whispered 'Joe'. "What kind of woman gets off fantasising about rape?"

quote end.

Now, imagine that chapter decorated with a: "People who reads and writes this stuff is sick."-comment.

By the heavens above and the hells below, I can just imagine the poster squirting his keyboard sticky by a chance to identify so perfectly with the rapist character.

The worst thing of is all ai that you can't even see theis ''sick,sick...'' Anthem as a quality mark from an ennemy of the categorie. It is everywhere.......

Thinking back

I did a piece a few years ago in the Non-consent category that really galvanized the readers who gave me feedback, and those who didn't but only voted.

In the tale, a criminal broke into a building in order two rob it, and to have his way with the girl he'd developed a crush on while "casing the joint". I did such a poor job of getting across the woman's motivations (the story was written in first-person from the criminal's viewpoint) that many wrote me and said she was totally unbelievable.

So, I wrote a companion piece that was the EXACT same story, only from her perspective. Critically a success, I must say, and those who took the time to read both were effusive with their praise (if not votes).

But popularity? The first story, so weak on its own, has twice the reads of the first, and many more votes.

I'm learning that people may write and tell you what they think that they want, they may say they want better literature. But when the chips are down, sometimes they just want some dirty porn and don't care about the rest.

Hey, I write the stuff, I'm not criticizing.

Lazy trolls

The current troll(s) in noncon are getting lazy.

Yesterday there was 4 stories up in the noncon category. Out of curiosity I checked their comments just now, it seems only one of them received the attention of a troll-commenter.

The troll put real effort into that single comment though, both referrals to storyline, addition of 'you're not female' and sickedidick comments, as well as a mention of a throat-slitting desire.

I'm quite upset that my piece was amongst the three that were neglected.

So, just in case he uses the forum:

I do understand that it is hard to write further after stickying your keyboard, mr. Troll, and I don't blame you for shooting your load after making one lengthy comment. But, surely, by now your keyboard is clean and ready for another round.

So, here's my story list:

http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=945116&page=submissions

Seven noncon stories to troll in one place! You know you want to. The newest doesn't even have a comment yet. Yours would be the first, shining all alone.

Why resist?

I haven't even blocked voting on it yet, so you could have the added spice of making sure a long, long time will pass before that newest chapter gets the H of time.

You know you want to. That feeling of righteous rage, outraged rage, so easily woken and caressed by reading other people's fantasies and condemning them.

You want to go there again, and again.

Play your game.

Feel much better

I recently posted my first story on this site, in non-consent. I was happy to see that a lot of people liked it, but one person was extreemly negative about it. I was just reading through these posts and noticed an entry that coments on some of the more nasty things mr. anonymous had to say- especially the "throat slitting" comment. I just wanted to say that after reading your rebuttle to this persons nasty comments I was unable to stop grinning! Thanks for those words, they made me laugh.

"Happy to be of service," said ellynei and bowed.

Look at this, look at this.

desire to write overwhelms you.

Finally!

Unwanted Obsession chapter 06.

Yes, baby! YES!!!

Been commented to by a troll.

I feel special :)

Now I want one that actually refers to storyline, so you can tell they skimmed it and didn't just click to the end.

There is definitely a class of people who add comments where they complain about, say, a non-consensual story because it is, well, non-consensual. In this case though, with the same stupid comments added to everything, it is clearly someone who just wants to a rise out of the author. (Well, not that kind of rise:) )

It's on par with running into a store, yelling "penis!" and then running out.

Personally I like Non-Consensual stories. I've written Non-Consensual stories. Yet, this can be a tricky category in some ways as the topics is something which is, to put it mildly, highly unacceptable socially, morally, legally, etc. Still, I like the fantasy and as karie44 pointed out above, I'm sure there are many people out there who like that sort of stuff but will never admit it - maybe not even to themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if the mysterious trash commenter is one of them.

There is reader who posted the same negative comment twice with a zero score on one of my Non-Consent stories.

I did wonder about the point of posting twice - it didn't occur to me that there might be alternative motive, i.e. malice.
I welcome feedback on my writing technique and ideas and so view any comments as a bonus - but just saying that people who read and write these stories should be locked away is not constructive.

I wonder whether such people have had nasty experiences in their lives and these stories bring something to the surface they don't want to face.

One could wonder. But then why do they seek out these stories?

One could imagine a curious person stumbling into a story of a kind they fear. One could imagine curiousity making them read it in spite of that fear. One can easily imagine such a person being shocked by what they read, and hence, can easily imagine that person giving the story a zero and a very nasty comment.

Yes, this one can imagine. If one is sympathetic one can also feel sad that this person has felt discomfort by reading one's story.

I believe this scenario occurs occasionally, but I have no belief that this should be the case for a significant percentage of hate comments.

Posting twice sometimes comes from being in a hurry to post the comment on a slow connection. It called a double post. It happens here in the forums also.

This couple that posted on my story and many others at the time, definitely had a hang up on rape. The only problem is they didn't really read the story. There isn't a rape of her, of him on the other hand, it was pretty close. :D

The story revolves more around a bad girl / good girl struggle for a young lady in college and away from home for the first time. Here's a link for anyone interested. Wet

Non-consent is one of my favorite categories and I want to say thanks to all of you who dare to write it.

Don't let the trolls get to you.

I've been the victim of the "sick, sick, sick" comments. I just found it amusing as a college-aged woman that someone would think that a story, which is based purely on fantasy of mine, is wrong. It really makes me wonder what they're so into, and if not non-con, why read the category?

(I'd laugh so hard if they hate the idea of rape in the story because of moral issues but got off to incest stories)

That would be sort of funny :)

In my country we have a saying, or is it an anti-saying? a joking expression anyway.

Morale is good. Double-morale is twice as good.

(Double-morale being a term for the concept of having more than one set of moral standards.)

("Standards are good. Double-standards are twice as good." Would be another way to translate it. Maybe english-speakers have that expression too.)
