Newbie here, so please be kind.
This seemed to be the most appropriate forum, but forgive me if I misposted or if my request is deemed unreasonable or in violation of the TOS.
I have started the process of producing a series of 12 new adult films, but I need serious help with serious writing - prose, not screenplays.
These movies will be high indy quality and shot in HD. This won't be the standard 1-day adult film cycle. The watchword here is quality and longevity.
The main story line is about a 40-something successful businessman who retires young to explore BDSM and is just as successful with his experiments as he was in business. He starts his journeys with this hypothesis:
"Every woman, bar none, will prove her worthiness to the Alpha Male by not only enduring, but enjoying, as best she can, even his most brutal attacks.
"But it is only beautiful if the attacks are a part of BDSM, a sex act, in which both are fulfilled sexually and he leaves her unharmed.
"If, in fact, the woman does not respond to the man in this way, he is not the Alpha Male in her consideration.
"This is the genesis of unwanted sex -- unwanted rape, unwanted torture, unwanted humiliation, beatings, mutilation and death.
"These are acts carried out by artless men who have not earned the mantle of Alpha Male."
Although never plain vanilla, his journey into BDSM deepens in... uh... "sophistication"
over time. He starts with BDSM prostitutes, then normal everyday women, then a much more complex goal begins to be revealed. The end goal could be termed "truly bizarre," but the progression through 12 episodic movies allows the audience the time necessary to wrap their wits around it... or not In actual fact, the end goal is not the surprise ending. The end goal is built toward in a chess-like fashion, so check and checkmate can be anticipated. After the bizarre end goal is attained, a truly surprising, almost non-sequitur ending is revealed, which will likely take the audience a number of takes to fully understand. A truly WTF moment.
I am a RL BDSM practitioner and have pushed the envelope on 24x7 BDSM relationships in RL farther than most. I have never harmed a woman and no woman has ever left a long-term relationship with me. Much of what I need written about, I have direct RL experience with. In fact, the hypothesis above is my own, in RL, and I have yet to find a case that has disproven the hypothesis.
Although I have not produced movies before, I am an experienced project manager, I have friends who have worked in most facets of the film industry in Los Angeles (Hollywood) and I have a pretty good grip on what this will take to accomplish. We will have an indy-like budget, somewhere between Simi Valley and Hollywood. Everyone's pay will lean heavily on the royalty side, keeping initial expenses low.
I would like to develop a relationship with a writer that could take on a project like this. We will, of course, start with the first episode and see how that goes. If we all make money and end up liking each other, we go on to the next. I will produce all 12 episodes regardless. This is a semi-autobiographical work, so I have been sorta working on this story my whole life. I have tested my hypothesis over 35 years, and I would like for there to be a permanent record for future reference.
Any comments or advice are appreciated. I will answer any question as promptly as I can, but I am not at my desk all day, every day. And no I don't have a Blackberry. I enjoy time offline and well as on.
