How would a double leg amputee fit into a BDSM lifestyle, especially as a sub.???

Researching story ideas, that's all.

Pretty much the same way as anybody else would. Are there really that many activities that require legs and can't be done with artificial legs?

The same way anyone else would. There would just be more sitting involved.

...

Okay, that was probably wrong, even for me.

A double amputee is just like anyone else, honestly. They have a functional brain, right? That's where all the action is anyway.

There is an occasional poster on here that is a top and uses a wheelchair. Haven't seen her around in a while. Primalex's bride, from what I recall, uses a chair as well. I've heard of other folks in similar vein. I would guess that there would be some access issues, and modifications needed for certain activities, but that would be about it. It is more mechanical stuff than any sort of serious difference.

And, hell, with modern prosthetics, many of those modifications would be unnecessary.

just asking

I'm just asking, perhaps on a fishing trip.

to be quite honest, I have no experience with any aspect of BDSM, other than a few snippets from a story or two that I read right here, on lit.

But the things I have read seem to me to be ummm interesting, to say the least.

so lemme get this straight...

you have no experience with BDSM, no experience with the mindset of a sub, no background other then a story snippet, and you want to complicate things even more by making the star of your story not a single, but a double amputee?

on the one hand i appreciate the not playing it safe.

on the other hand, may i suggest maybe writing a "normal" D/s piece without the added dynamic of a severe disability?

Its kinky for me, but unrealized.

Just that extra helplessness does it.

ummm yea. but let me explain that this particular idea's only been nudging around in my noggin for a couple days - it may actually be months before I'm ready to write a story, if ever.

but I am a bit curious about different aspects of this particular lifestyle.

Perhaps I should pursue other avenues research.

That's how I've had the fetish described to me, by people who are into it. It's like bondage with no ropes.

A high level of trust is required; the sub is at risk for abuse.
Sometimes the one who is sub seems to lack identity, is rather featureless, almost invisible. Sometimes people who have disabilities are treated like this out in the big world. Maybe there is a relationship, either similar or opposite, between these ideas for the person in your story.

Yup

In my stories I usually have sub get amputations as a sort of gift/symbol of her trust and helplessness to her dom. Quadruple amputation, something about it is just beyond hot and romantic.

Concerning male subs, how about castration? Eunuchs supposedly blow up with muscles after castration, that could be a motive for the domme.
