Have you ever met someone you're comfortable with almost instantly?

I met someone a week ago today at a party and by the end of the night we were pretty much cuddling and we kissed twice. So, I'm wondering, how common is this kind of thing? I'm not talking love at first sight or anything like that, simply a sense of being very comfortable with a person shortly after meeting them.

YUP - thrice - so far .....

Once when I was 21. Once when I was 27 and then again recently. I'm 56 now. The last one was a follow up of months of emailing and talking so it wasn't like a blind date. When we did hook up it was surprisingly "comfortable" - like meeting an old lover from University again after years of being apart. It was wonderful knowing that my brain still CAN work like that. IOt turned out to be much better than I anticipated or could have hoped for. Unfortunately reality is that long distance relationships SUCK!!!
