So I've become curious about the lifestyle as of late. I joined a local swingers social group on Yahoo and have gotten a fair number of event and party notifications.

1. At these meet and greets, I assume you are just there to have fun and meet couples you might grow into a more intimate friendship, is that the jist?

2. I've also gotten invites to swinger pool parties. This is a two part question:
a) They mention, "food, drinks, fun, and of course sex". At these parties, do couples that hook up find a room at the house or do so out in the open for others to view?
b) They've limited the attendance to 50 couples. How do you think they would feel if my wife and I attended even though we're not swingers? I'm interested in going because we're more exhibitionists/voyeurs and because we'd like to meet other people that are like minded in their sexual freedom.

3. Do swingers mostly swap partners or do they do more inclusion of other people into their sex lives?

All of the above. We've done exhibitionism, voyerism, group, soft swap, full swap, people piles......... Do what you are comfortabl with , no one will force you to do anything you don't want to do. Make sure you both talk before, during, and after so everyone is OK. Decide ahead on an exit strategy if one or the other feels uncomfortable.

Pretty much if the meet & greet is at a public place that is what will happen and why they do those sort of things... Very "no pressure" sort of get together

Depends on the party and the space they have available. Usually there will be both private and public play space available.

One of the paramount rules is that no means no.. so if you are just there to socialize then fine. It shouldn't make any difference whether you really wanted to play with others or not. If your invite is from a couple you know then they should also be aware that you are new and respect your comfort level with any activities.
