I actually have a second story here on Chyoo. It's a very oblique angle into a sci-fi tale - oblique as it begins in a steamy jungle with apparently little in the way of hi-tech options around.

I constantly struggle with a name for it. The current version is simply: Lust of the Jungle Flesh as I feel that suggests the alien spin I had in mind.

Reminds me of the jungle episode of the Love and Rockets comic series where longtime major character Maggie (trained as a "prosolar mechanic") goes with the poster-boy hero Rand Race into the jungle to salvage a crashed spacecraft. There was lots of sexual tension but not much resolution, as I recall.

I wonder if it might make sense to have a rescuers storyline, tracking any survivors.

I hope I've contributed positively to the story. I like the setting, characters, etc thus far.

Dude, I think you're one of the best writers on the story and in Chyoo in general. You've contributed!

That said... not sure how to advance the story from where you left. Even if we "cope" with the latest monster we're left with the two women who seem rather pinned down. I did toy with one being effected in a different way from the other but that also seems to dead-end too soon. Hmm. Must ponder it some more!
