There may be a thread about this already but I did a searchand nothing jumped out at me.

Who is into choking? How hard do you like it? What posistion do you like it in? How often do you want to be choked or choke?

As for me..I tend to do more of the choking but I do love it when she is riding me and wraps her fingers around my throat as she is cumming. something so hot about that!

It is commonly called "breathplay" and there are about 8000 threads on it.

I was thinking about making a snarky comment, but I generally look to Wayne Brady for inspiration when I need moral or lifestyle guidance. Since he's clearly in favour of choking when necessary, I have decided that this, too, shall pass.

Unless somebody gets bitchy.

Dunno what's wrong with the rest of you, unless you're all still gorged on Winston's quiche.

Anyway, choking is bad. Like potentially fatal. Check the definitions thread section on Breathplay for more information.

This is coming from somebody who loves it but refuses to actually do it anymore after a bad episode and a little research.

Hmmmm

I was always under the impression that choking was different to breathplay... only a little different, but still.

And that it could almost be ok if done by someone with strong kung fu.

My take on it was something like,

Choking = hands around neck with some pressure but still able to breathe.
Brethplay = causing inability to breathe through various measures.

Yes? No?

I've never heard of a technical distinction along those lines, but even partial obstruction like that can be dangerous.

unability is kinda like an unsult I think :D

And that definition pretty much matches mine.

I always took choking play to be blood flow interference, and breathplay to be air flow interference.

Yeah me too, I always thought you should administer the Heimlich manuver if you have someone choking...that is not able to draw breath or speak.

now if your the choker and not the choke'e if you cause the tongue to jut out of an open mouth like it was attached to a cash register drawer and the face is turning purple/blue... you know your doing it right (here is a hint give em a shake to help disorient them).

Oh, shush, I had just woken up!

Yeah exactly. Not saying one is any less dangerous to the other, just that they mean two different things to me.

Choking is to Breathplay as Strangulation is to Killing. ie, choking is a type of breathplay. Much as strangulation is a way to kill people.

....

Hmm, I don't know if the subtext in the analogy is clear enough. Maybe I should punch it up a little...

Well put.

Choking is part of breath play, depending on the severity of what you like.

But yeah, look up breath play. You'll find a ton of info. I don't have time right now, but if you just wanted to start a new thread on it, I'll post on it later, as will (I'm sure) lots of people.
