Oh, you're good. All members must start with no humpin prospects and then leave with lots of humpin prospects, or at least one. You're so wise. *bows low*

This is certainly a shared idea. I could not have come up with it on my own, for that I cannot let you bow alone, I must kneel before you and let you know just how wonderful you are too.

Or form two clubs kinda joined together. Humpless and Humping On Humpday. That way you wouldnt have to leave th clubm, just shift between sections, depending on whether you could find a good hump or not

*chuckles* We could make T-shirts. . . reversible, so you could advertise if you have been humped or not, that way folks knew you needed a good humpin' or you were too wore out.

Good plan

I try to toss those out every once in a blue moon. Today must have been my lucky moment. lol

Kids are home, privacy and quietness are now just a memory. Soon I will be bombarded with... can I get on the computer. *wanders if eBay takes kids* ....

Nope  something to do with requiring proof of owndership first

I'd never sell them, rent out their cleaning services though, that's an option. :D Have a good day sweets.

Damn! Wait... I have birth certificates. :D

Oh please... share any hump day you'd like. Or non-hump day's you'd like to turn into them!
Mmm... perhaps I need a Red's Hump Day Thread, where I just go in on a Wednesday and turn in a rain check. ;)

That's just proof of parentage, apparently, for sale you need to prove ownership. not quite as simple :( perhaps you can rent them out instead?

That sounds incredibly exciting... and something I'd love helping you fulfill!

I better run off though red, lovely chatting with you again, take care of yourself (and those rain checks)! :rose:

We'll talk about it. It certainly wouldn't hurt anyone. ;) Granted it probably wouldn't be left in the Playgrounders thread. Mods would probably move it to SRP.

Speedy... :D

I wanted to pop back in and catch folks up on Speedy. I went outside today with my daughter and we saw another baby red squirrel under my peony bush. It was identical to Speedy with the exception of Speedy weighed a bit more, simply because he's not been out and about running off calories, like these others were. After all they are running up and down trees and across our yard. We approached it and it ran up my Peach tree. There are no holes in the peach tree, so I walked over to the tree that's about 6 feet from the Peach, looked in the old abandoned bird nest and there was another baby squirrel wiggling deep down in the dark hole!

Now, before folks start yelling at me, I did do research. Even if a baby squirrel has been in contact with a human, the mother will take it back. So I thought, why not see how Speedy reacts and if he does nothing then I'll take him back, but if he reacts in a way I feel is positive then I will forever believe I have found his home.

He sniffed twice, put a paw on the edge of the nest and then shot down like a rabbit in a hole and stayed put. He then popped his head out as if to say goodbye, then dive bombed back into the hole.

My kids and I then left the nest alone and went to the store. We came back to check on the nest and there was yet another baby. This one though was all white! Was Speedy there? I don't know there was a lot of furry bodies though.

I've since put pecans out for the babies and hopefully for their mom. I've seen at least one pop out and run around the tree, then pop back in. So I do see they are moving freely and healthy. The ones we did see in the tree looked very healthy.

Sure I can't be 100% positive it's his home, but I feel in my gut it is and I feel I did the right thing. Speedy is eating solids, actually turning away from his bottle, so I know he can eat nuts. The other squirrel, the one in the tree was running all over the branches, so I know it is not weak from a lack of hunger, thus mom is probably feeding it, so the nest is probably not abandoned.

Hey red, just popping in to wish you a happy Friday!!! Hopefully you have a wonderful weekend in store. Good to hear Speedy found his home!
