nothing much new. just the normal stuff.

weather broke this evening. heavy rain but not storms just a downpour. cleansing and nice and cool now!

going to flip between hockey games whichever one is on tv to see who the pens play in the next round.

Afternoon, everyone! Late visit by me, just checking in to see how you're all doing. Got a major drain clog in the bathtub...can't wait to see what kind of nasty thing is pulled out of there.

It's the neighbor kid's b-day today so we're gathering down there after school so the kids can do some games outside, balloon stomp and I don't know what else. Maybe cake or something.

LOL - I guess you've got a good book to read. I've got one reserved at the library that I'm picking up today, so I'll have that to read over the week-end.

Just passing through - boss is arriving soon and have to get to work. Looks like we might see some rain here this week-end too. Nothing too exciting planned, but I'm glad it's nearly the week-end

Plus the District Nurse tried to take out my stitches today, unsuccessfully and painfully. Another trip to A&E, only to find out they are, in fact, dissolvable stitches and she needn't have bothered

OK Mum. BTW...GA is strange...does he count as a stranger? *grin*

Happy Friday backatcha, {{{Janey}}} It's a book my dad lent me, titled Hawaii, by James A. Michener. At 1130 pages it's a monster, but it's soooo good. It starts when the Hawaiian Islands were forming deep under the sea, continues with the Bora Borans setting out in their 80 ft canoe to land on the Big Island, then on to the missionaries and their families, etc...I'm about three-quarters of the way through. Hope to finish it this weekend.

Parents are going to be here in a few for dinner, so I'll catch you later.
