General Patton Discusses The War On Terror

Doesn't surprise me at all that you live in a fantasy past.

JBJ - I don't know nor do I care if you are a combat veteran - which George Patton and myself are....George Bush 2 is not....he's a deserter who wasn't prosecuted because his daddy had connections.....
War - that is: the killing and neutralizing of the enemy is a filthy, ugly, business devoid of honor, glory or any redeeming social value.....it is quite simply: a means to an end. I trust and believe that you have not had to visit War as a situation or a condition during your time on this planet. If you have, then that experience exonerates you from the responsibility of your actions....if not, then may God have mercy on your soul, because I won't.....George Patton was a segmented, repressed, and inhibited warrior born about 300 yrs too late.....his world view was not held in any regard by his superiors - for good reason - and a result we have made another, difficult step in evolution....

I love this stuff.

Amicus quotes Auel's novels for human prehistory.

JBJ quotes "Patton" on Iraq, though Patton died 60 years ago and an actor wrote this speech and delivered it.

The youtube write up says:

Awe-inspiring performance! Writer/Actor/Comedian, MikeKaminski.com as General George S. Patton...rants about Iraq and the modern world situation! "An absolute must-see!!"

GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON TALKS ABOUT THE WAR ON TERROR

Always amazing how some will go to any length to criticize an opponent at any and all opportunites. No biggee.

Anyway, Auel actually spent a great deal of time in the Caves in France and Germany where remains of Neanderthal man and Cave Bears were found. As with any author, fiction or non fiction, I enjoy, I use their thoughts as a basis for research to confirm.

Patton was a warrior, thus it comes as no surprise that the pussies are appalled by his history and the remembrance of it; how could it be otherwise, our brave 'usual suspects' drop their drawers and offer their asses at the first sign of danger.

That is why, inevitably, they will go extinct, and I find that fitting.

Wonderful observation.

Quoting speculative fiction to support 'fact' is specious indeed.....

Not that it matters...but...much of the early science fiction I read in the 40's, turned out to be fact before the next century began. I, for example, explored the Moon and Mars, long before it happened in reality. The 'speculation' that Auel expressed concerning possible mating between Neanderthal and modern man, has been the subject of recent studies...

Of course you know that fiction often precedes fact, but the little jab is appreciated, I was dozing off.

:)

Sort of same 'modus operandi' used by the Bush-Cheney Ganstas to craft a justification for torture and an abdication of all morality.......

I've heard Atlas Shrugged is all fact too. Now, let's see if I can remember where I heard that.

You, of course, can believe Walter Cock-eyed and CBS news. Of course the left would do nothing unethical to damage George Bush just before the 2004 election.

Patton sought the end of a war won by military victory that would have shortened the killing by months; but, the superiors wanted a political end to the war and waited on the Russians so they could take over half the world for communism. The USSR tortured the Western powers a long time but it was not Patton's fault, was it?
