It's the biggest interview i've ever had. It's for the doctorate, and i am shitting myself. I mean, i got through selection to interview, so that's something, but i'm just scared i'm going to freeze up in there. I need to get on to this course.

Flying wasn't so bad. Take-off is interesting. From stopped to in the air in under 30 seconds. Landing was quite a non-event, if you don't count the idiot that excused himself to the restroom and almost made us have to delay (he also almost delayed take-off. I wanted to throttle him).

I'm sure you'll do fine. Just remember that everyone who got selected for an interview has a good chance of getting it... so carry yourself like you know what the hell you're doing (I'm sure you do) and you'll be fine. :D

I was a road-warrior for my job for about 18 months... living out of a suitcase... that was cool. :D I've seen turbulence, been bounced around aircraft, seen all kinds of crazy stuff happen.

One of my favorite *eventful* landings was in St. Louis... the pilot touched down, SLAMMED on the brakes, spoilers, & flaps (looked like the wing was coming apart) - then turned around on the runway the 10 yards he had overshot his desired taxiway and pulled straight into our gate... if he hadn't done that... we would have been taxiing for almost 20 minutes. He profusely apologized for the sudden stop. Turns out the pilot on that trip was a friend of mine. :D Boy did I give him a earful later. ;)
 
That was not good. I was not disrupting anyone else's work. I was quietly doing my own thing and however diplomatically you phrased that, I just didn't like it and WILL resent you for it.
