15 years ago I would have won this show, hands down, and had the producers asking for more

the worse version is MTV's "the Pickup Artist". I'd love to see that twerp here in the AH and watch the ladies here laugh for weeks on end.
:D

*remembers Lindy from his college days and the elevator incident*

yup.

I wonder if ravioli for lunch and peeps for dessert is going to make me sick.

if its Chef Boyardee ravioli, then most likely yes.

Now real ravioli, with a good marinara or alfredo sauce, and some garlic bread on the side.... you're safe.

Damn, now I miss Mama Stariano :(

Does anyone actually eat that stuff?

Only those under the age of 12 and anyone who has had a palate-ectomy. Glagh!

No...it was real ravioli with real meat sauce. I can't deal with the Chef Boyardee knockoff crap anymore...just doesn't taste right or feel right. And I don't feel sick yet so... :)

Oh good good..... But you totally took me back 20 years to one of the best nights of my life (that wasn't naughty at all).

Over 40 years ago I ate ravioli on a sun terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and washed it down with a recommended Chianti.

Ravioli hasn't tasted as good since then.

Perhaps it was the company? ;)

It might have been.

The company was those few of the First Class passengers of a liner travelling from Australia to England who had been willing to get up at 4am to have the ruins of Pompeii to themselves for three hours. That was about 30 people.

We were outnumbered by the English speaking guides and went into parts of Pompeii that were then not normally open to the public.

The meal was after we had driven from Pompeii along the coastal road. We were relaxing before more sight-seeing, again in an exclusive group getting privileged access to some of the villas around the bay. In the few villas we visited we were usually shown around by the owners.

How much would such a tour cost now? Pompeii for 30 people for three exclusive hours?

The food (and wine) was a great part of a wonderful day.

Anyone watching the Tudors third season?

It started last sunday, but with On Demand, I've been able to watch the second episode already.

Way sexy. :)

For you I'd have to cook traditional southern food...or maybe, traditional Native food.

Your choice. :)

Fried Chicken. Collard Greens. Mashed Taters and Gravy. Black-eyed peas. Yellow Squash. Snap beans with real bacon. Biscuits AND cornbread.
