I blame the economy. Money is tight, so its probably best to exploit any venue to gather some traffic for your cam-show site.

i like the sense of authenticity around some ppl...a lot of ppl, i suspect, are pretty fake...but i try to take it all with a grain of salt cause it is, after all, a porn site.

It's an interesting theory, and I was also disappointed to see the thread removed.

The Clio thread should've stayed up at least as a social signifier of how easy it is for horndogged heads to get grifted over. What amazed me was that the two main early gaffes of the person impersonating "Clio" made in its posts were totally glossed over. But who can say whether or not people didn't care about the funk-faking or if they actually believed in "Clio," indeed?

It was hella fun while it lasted, though.
