Yep, unless the reader re-reads the story over and over. But, I think you're right, ultimately the writer is responsible for world he's created.

I tried to submit a story a long time ago and it was rejected due to the paragraphs being to long. It was suggested to me to send it to an editor but I didn't send it out of laziness I suppose, and the fact that I didn't want anyone to change my work.

I have writen a few other stories but never submitted those as well.
