First trip to Europe.

I'll let the locals speak more about London, but it's a great place to visit. Do disregard my avatar as I dole out the advice. However, the tube is incredibly easy to use. If you're there for around 5 days and know you'd use it at least twice a day I might recommend getting an Oyster card. But for the first 1-2 days I'd recommend you act like blatant tourists and just use the double deckers to get around to just hop on - hop off & snap away. Its a 45 min circuit which hits all the main spots including the British Museum, the Tates, Big Ben, etc. but if you get out and walk around at each stop, that'll use up an entire day. After that, I'd suggest you take advantage of the tour guide books to figure out exactly what you want to see, especially night life wise, so that you'll have a nice little itinerary all planned out.

Also, bring over a couple portable umbrellas with you. It almost always rains everyday there. Trust me. And you don't want to spend $$ buying one there. If you want to purchase tea to go home, don't buy them at the tourist shops. Go to the grocery store where they sell local tea for cheaper than over here. Also, Victoria Station has a lovely indoor mall where things are quite affordable. There's a tea shop that almost always has lovely tea sets/pots on sale. Also, do visit the castles and partake of refreshments there.

You might also want to post this to one of the UK sign-in threads -

I saw that, thank you! :)

I'm really curious about Ibiza since I can't find much information.

Also, for another stereotypical touristy treat - do have tea in the Orangerie at Kensington Palace - affordable and the waiters, who provide a bit of pomp, add to it -

Apart from what you said in your OP, what type of info are you looking for?

Because when I google 'Ibiza club scene' and similar, I find a ton of info on specific clubs, the scene in general and tourist info. The last time I was in Spain, the Let's Go Spain book also had plenty of info on Ibiza, so it's definitely available.

I think she knows that she already referenced guidebooks in her post - She probably just wants to know there are things they might not say or be able to say - You actually discover that once you've been in the country -

If you watch a football match in London, especially around White heart lane,
Tottenham's grounds,or shudder the thought Millwall, I'd be a little careful.
Watch which pubs you go in and even
the colour of your shirt.
It's not as relaxed as American sports unfortunately.
