My husband just found a shotgun (unloaded) in the garage - apparently left there by the old owner of the house.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but that really freaked me the hell out. Seriously, WTF?

I know. How could anyone forget their shotgun? That's the type of thing I would pack first to make sure it got to the new place a-ok ;)

I've got to stop reading his posts and rolling my eyes at everything he says.

Or, and this is a longshot, I could stop making roll-worthy posts (nope, not gunna happen, even if you weren't talking about me ;) :rose:  ).

Oh my god. It's a weekday, it's midnight, WHY are those fucking bars a quarter mile away being allowed to play their music SO LOUD that we can hear it CLEARLY through our CLOSED windows AT THIS TIME OF NIGHT?!?

The saying "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" applies to most of my life at the moment. . . . I say it with honesty. I've been in such a negative space, and I just stayed there. And it's infiltrated everything.

Not any more. I'm taking my life back.

Everyone in our house is sending you lots and lots of "feel good, feel better, feel great vibes", chickie.
:heart::rose::kiss::rose::heart:

(well, I shouldn't say everybody - who the fuck know what the cats are thinking... inscrutable Siamese bitches that they are... :cattail: )

BTW, I never did receive those neked pictures you were going to send... Think they got lost in the mail???

OMG I have been offered a entry level opportunity that could lead to a career of writing. They are starting me with a small project and if that goes well they will give me larger writing projects. The potential is there as they are associated with a very nice book and movie deal. If those take off I could do very well.:)

:D take it with both hands and run with it, i hope it gets you to where you want to be :D yay you! i'm proud of ya hun :D

So, i was at uni 2 hours early, i saw my tutor, i told her i got an interview for the MSc/ PhD, and she said congrats, ''were you surprised'' and i said ''yeah!'' and the look on her face was one of such concern, and she said ''come over here, we need to talk about this'' in her sympathetic counsellor tone :D She told me i shouldn't have been surprised, and that it's great and i deserve it :D

I went to see my 'mentor' from my undergrad very briefly, and told her, and she said pretty much the same thing, i told her ''my tutor said that!'' and she said ''well then!''

Then i had to see my tutor at lunchtime for my project proposal, and she asked how i felt about the interview again, and i told her i went to see my mentor, and that she said this and that, some of the same things she herself had said, and she said ''well, there you go, i'm not the only one saying it.''

:)

Also, i found out that my friend and I are in the same group, on the same day and the same time, for our interview :D wooohooo! :D (kinda scary though, i dont want her to say everything and leave me with nothing to say...)

*breathes* blurt over :D

ETA: I got a great score on my paper :D well, it's what i wanted :) so i'm happy.

Well there you go than. ;)

And I'm sure that your friend has the same fear about you showing her up.

It's tachypnea, you stupid cunt, not tackypenia. Learn to say the terminology. It is your job, after all.

Amazing how you can go from "Oh, I'm so depressed about this" to "I really don't give a frack" within a week or so. I'm very happy that I am able to move on and get to the don't give a frack stage.

Good for you, kid. I'm behind you all the way (and not just for the view *wink*)

Richard Dawkins is the most unscrupulous and immoral "science" writer I have ever come across... Oxford should be ashamed of publishing "The Selfish gene." It ought to have been published by Tor, or some other pulp paperback press.

What a pack of manipulation!!

Thank you

Glad to hear it.

Thank you, You. :rose:

Goddess, that is so true.

Thank you, Sweetheart. :rose: You'll have to ask Abs for the pics. I'm sure she has them all somewhere. ;)

So . .. the first four weeks are almost done, and it's basically been pointless. . . . but actually it hasn't, because we know it didn't work. (if that makes sense)

I'm starting Gleevic on Monday. I know it will work this time.
