but it is very uplifting and heartening to know that these people care that much about thier coworkers. It probably wouldn't work on Wall Street or any of the other centers of corporate hubris but it is an idea. More than we got from Reagan, BushI, or BushII.....

What are the chances this altruistic CEO loses his job for being a pussy? Does he not understand the meaning of capitalism? He's supposed to be maximizing returns for shareholders, not coddling workers!

If Obama were smart he would do the same for Congress. and ask them to give up something. And he would enforce his $500K limit on any business that took the Government Bail out.
And any bonuses would be paid after the Government had been paid back in full.

Those at the top should be willing to take that deal. Most of them have had a good ride and probably and will hold on to their homes after all.

Perhaps we can get Nancy P. and the rest of them to give up flying Military instead of commercial at her own expense?
