Do you use standard alkaline batteries in your sex toys?

....or rechargeable batteries? If you use rechargeables, what rechargeable batteries are best, and what charger is best?

regular batteries for me as well. Tried the rechargable and just didn't have enough oomph for me.

Interesting note, the last time Ellie and I went um, shopping, the store owner told us that most toys will wear out TOO SOON if you use Duracell or Energizer batteries. I don't know if it's true or BS but she recommended using generic store brand batteries in most toys to get the longest life out of them.

She did say that higher end toys like Ellie'ss 2 rabbits can take Duracells with no problem, it's the cheaper ones that wear out sooner. Again, just relaying what she told us, true or otherwise. :)

This seems to be our experience, too. Duracell and Energizer are more intense, but don't last as long. A full charge on the rechargables is fine. I would recharge them often, though. I have a Duracell NiMH charger. It seems to work fine.

The new rechargeable batteries (nimh?) are nice. They seem to last as long as regular alkaline batteries. I had rechargeable batteries years ago that were next to useless because they wouldn't last half as long as alkalines.

I've never heard anything about alkalines wearing out toys faster.

I supply the sex-toy batteries for my lady....and I always buy Duracell alkalines....
