"Don't divorce us."

There was an article in the LA Times about last Saturday, I think. It showed that only fundamentalist pseudo-Christians and Mormons had majority negative views of gay and lesbian people. Mainstream Protestants, Catholics, Jews and Buddhists had views that were strongly positive. Hopefully, the CalCourt will take this into considerations, as well as the anti-discrimination principles of law.

Once the full, legal personhood of gays and lesbians is established, who will the theologically pathetic find to hate next?

Well, traditionally, it's been "liberals" (anyone who does anything they don't like/approve of/want to allow themselves the pleasure of doing), atheists, and the proverbial "anti-Christians" that everyone's heard about but are extremely rare. But when they're really hard up for someone to hate, they tend to start eating each others' young. It's really ugly.

Okay. Signed. And blogged on MySpace.

But... doesn't the phrase "oral arguments" just make you shiver ???

I can't sign as I'm Canadian. But my heart goes with those of you who did.

I have lived in California for almost 49 years. I can sign and did.

Starr is not really a Californian; he's just a carpetbagger, although he now has a position at Pepperdine U.

That's horrible. What possessed them to display such bad taste?

Signed. :rose:

What the fuck difference does it make to Ken Starr or anybody else if gay people marry? I don't understand any of this and I am one pissed-off Libertarian agnostic. Furthermore I'm appalled at the blatant hatred and malice contained in Starr's crusade.

Youre still not getting the idea of what democracy is all about. If you like democracy, you like mob rule. Most people oppose same-sex marriage. Californians voted it down in November. So why are you still whining?

I would sign if I could. As I couldn't, I blogged it.

Happy Valentine's Day all
