Oh god, not second life, that's where I think 90% of misconceptions about BDSM spawn from.

I guess you're right, everyone has reasons, I'm just too curious for my own good. I'm sure you could find a bunch of people on collarme.

Aw, don't speak too harshly of SL. I sort of first figured out the whole BDSM thing there and met a lot of way cool very smart folks, one of which I think might have been the one who turned me on to lit. SL is just like the rest of the internet, a few smart, real people awash in a sea of idiots.

Oh I love Second Life, I own a small avatar store on SL called Grendel's Children. SL is my part time job in addition to full time school. I just don't like how people end up making things look on SL. Everyone and their mother (literally in some cases) are masters and mistresses on SL and I think out of that 80% are male (specifically the females), 70% are under 18, and 98% would condemn BDSM and homosexuallity and all it's evils in real life. I admit that you CAN find really good people on it but I guess after doing customer support for a lot of these people I just cringe.

There is a lot of free stuff, but most of it isn't very good. It's not hard to find a sugar daddy willing to buy you nicer stuff, though But keep in mind this is all virtual, and not worth spending real money on, though I know people who did. It's also possible to find a "job" in SL, which I did when I was at the height of my addiction.

Haven't been on in almost a year, but I doubt that too much as changed.

I'm impressed.

Google's server farms compose of I believe 450,000 dedicated machines..... they pretty much have a copy of the internet. You'd be amazed at what Google spiders get into.
