My wedding ring was my grandmother's, and has five diamonds across the top of it. Last time I took it in for cleaning, the guy told me that the prongs had some serious wear on them, and needed to be replaced, so I haven't been wearing it. I miss it, simply because it was grandma's, so I need to go ahead and have it fixed, I suppose....before I lose one of the stones.
