Why Palin won't be back in four years

Yeah, from what we've seen of its posts and intellect, Trouve would be welcomed with open arms by Nanny Europe; they prefer over-education above all else...

But like Alec Baldwin before, it's better to stay here and undue whatever the hell it was that made us the Paragon of Nations for two centuries...

I can't speak for The_Trouvere, but in my case the answer would be that this country is my country (no less than it is yours), and I have a civic duty as an American (as have you) to do the right thing and push my country to the left where it belongs.
Oh, so you're an arrogant elitist who knows what's best for others.

Please don't do me any favors.

Not to mention, you sound like Josef Goebbels.

To whoever said Marx hated liberals, you do realize the word liberal had a different meaning in his day, right?

By suggesting that I am over educated you probably refer to my ability to write entire paragraphs without spelling and grammar errors, and that I am able to back up my assertions with facts rather than hot air.

Oh come on you think she wouldn't? Real Americans, far right religious conservatives, of course she would this is a place of smut and sin there is no way she wants it around.

I'm afraid you are mistaken. The silencing of The People is not in the conservative agenda. It is in the Socialist agenda. Check out CongressPig Stabenow's intent to end talk radio because the views expressed are "incorrect." If your liberties are taken away, the loss won't come from the Right; it is already on the drawing boards of the Left.

Treason doth never prosper what's the reason?
For if it prosper, none dare call it treason!

Mr. and Mrs. Oink, having lost the ability to exert any control
over their own habits, decided to try to control YOUR thoughts.
Can't argue with suck-cess!

Above, Mr. and Mrs. Oink
explain all about [county] FAIR-NESS !!!!

Why this country? Why don't you move to Cuba or Venezuela if that's what you want?

The standard of living for most people who live in Cuba and Venezuela compares well with the standard of living for most people elsewhere in Latin America. I don't like dictatorships. That is why I disapprove of much of American foreign policy during the Cold War.

If we had not supported Ngo Dien Diem and the Shah of Iran we would have avoided the War in Vietnam and the Iranian Revolution of 1979.

You also sound like a Southern plantation owner circa 1859. Sounds like we got some fundamental differences that can only be resolved by secession and re-forming two separate unions. You can have yours, just let us have ours.

You want the United States to adopt the recommendations of a pompous, reactionary bore like Ayn Rand. Why is that not elitist?

Yep, you're a useful idiot who believes all the propaganda about Cuba and Venezuela.

The standard of living for most people who live in Cuba **** compares well with the standard of living for most people elsewhere in Latin America. ****

That, my dear, is 100% bullshit.

Ever been to Cuba?

Know any Cubans?

Ever been to Argentina?

Your statement is completely wrong. If you are able, go to Cuba and take a look around. It is a nightmare for the people there -- particularly people my age.

Then you will be astounded when the nation elects Newt Gingrich the 45th President of the United States -- with the campaign slogan "It's time to get Government off the backs of the American people."

Ralph Nader will be POTUS before Newt Gingrich will!

From a woman who asked how she would go about having objectionable (to her) books removed from the public library when she was Mayor of Wasilla?

You bet your scrawny ass she would shut down Lit if she could get the power to do so.

you talk to yourself out loud when you're alone don't you?

Nor do I.

What's your problem with that statement?

You're a fool if you think liberals and leftists are cowards. You're evil if you're "God-fearing" -- at least in this culture, where the phrase implies loyalty to a particularly evil abomination of a God. (Who made Hell? Hint: It wasn't Satan.)

According to the Gallup World Poll in 2006 the median monthly per capita income in Latin America was $118, in terms of U.S. dollars. For Argentina it was $184, for Cuba it was $117, and for Venezuela it was $111.

He probably believes their Party line about the superiority of their communist medical system as well.

The Cuban medical system is good. Whether it's better than ours or not is relative. Is the care actually better? Probably not. No reason why it would be. Are the majority of people better off health-wise because of it? Absolutely.
And KK knows shit about Cuba. He/she has never been there.

Oh, so you're an arrogant elitist who knows what's best for others.

I'm a citizen. Pushing the country in whatever direction I think best for it is my duty. That's just the most basic, innocuous, Rotarian civics you learn in high school. (Or would have, if you had gone.)

Not to mention, you sound like Josef Goebbels.

Oh, yes, I'm always saying things like, "Intellectual activity is a danger to the building of character."

Tell us again how DailyKos is just like the Brownshirts.

You also sound like a Southern plantation owner circa 1859.

 Ooh, yeh, them Bourbon aristocrats wuz all red Bolsheviks, they wuz . . .

Sounds like we got some fundamental differences that can only be resolved by secession and re-forming two separate unions. You can have yours, just let us have ours.

Tell it to Lincoln, asshole.

"Data for 2004 show that Cuba has one of the highest life expectancy rates in Latin America."

"According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the chance of a Cuban child dying at five years of age or younger is 7 per 1000 live births in Cuba, while it's 8 per 1000 in the US. WHO reports that Cuban males have a life expectancy at birth of 75 years and females 79 years. In comparison, the US life expectancy at birth is 75 and 80 years for males and females, respectively. Cuba's infant mortality rate is lower than the US with 5 deaths per thousand in Cuba versus 7 per thousand in the US. Cuba has nearly twice as many physicians as the U.S. -- 5.91 doctors per thousand people compared to 2.56 doctors per thousand, according to WHO. [17] [17]"
